I thoroughly recommend The Boathouse for a wonderful get away or if you are traveling for business. The facilities are top class, bed absolutely comfortable and Deborah and Andy are very welcoming. The setting is lovely, right on the inlet, dolphins may cruise by. Continental breakfast very extensive. Quiet place and yet walking distance to the City Centre. I will return 🌼

One of the nicest B and Bs we have stayed at. The attention to detail in our suite (The Seabreeze Suite) was second to none. Everything about our room was comfortable. Very warm and friendly welcome from Andy and Deborah (and Ella, the dog, who resides outside when guests are around). The Continental breakfast each morning was excellent with a range of cereals, fruit juice and fresh fruit, toast, crumpets etc. More than enough to satisfy the hungriest of travellers. We would definitely recommend a stay at this B and B!

We have used many BnB's over the years and this would rank among the best. The hosts Deborah and Andy were so welcoming and helpful. The room was beautifully set up with a blue and white theme. Bed was super comfortable and the ensuite clean and well equipped. Loved the breakfast set up with all you could eat continental. With views over the inlet what more could you want

A very nice B&B very clean, spacious room and great breakfast! One of my favourite things is the coded entry to the house and your room so you don't have to worry about keys! Close and scenic walk into town by the water. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, spacious, clean and comfortable. Andy and his wife are impeccable hosts, provide some great tips of what to see in the region and where to eat, and have an incredible eye for detail (i.e. the little things like giving you a Cadbury dream chocolate on your bed so as you have sweet dreams). Bed was comfortable and bedding was spotless. Bathroom was spacious and again spotless. Breakfast was plentiful (cereal, toast, yoghurt, juices and coffee).

Positively perfect in every way - Deborah and Andy were the perfect hosts and provided loads of insight into the area and suggestions of where to go and what to see. The room was large, the bed extremely comfortable and the outlook out the back overlooking the water was a perfect location for breakfast. Highly recommended.

Deborah welcomes us to Bunbury, very nice accommodation, lots of extra little touches. Great garden to eat breakfast in. Deborah gave us information on local places to visit. The dolphin centre is close by but sadly they didn’t surface on the day we were there. Would fully recommend staying here.

You can see why this B & B rated #1 in Bunbury. Deborah abd Andy were very informative and very obliging, super continental breakfast overlooking the river and residentish wagtail, could not be cuter. Room was of good size, bed comfy, microwave and fridge. It is fair to say well appointed. A very good sized bathroom and shower. Four doors away from a good local pub/hotel, but don't expect small portions.

We have stayed a couple of times at the Boathouse Bed and Breakfast in Bunbury. Once for a couple of nights and most recently four nights. The first time we stayed the hosts Deborah and Andy were away and we were the only guests. Everything was so well set up that not having the hosts handy had no impact on our stay. However, when we stayed most recently Deborah and Andy were at home, so we were able this time to meet the delightful hosts. Deborah and Andy can offer ideas on places to eat and things around Bunbury or just have a chat in the garden that overlooks the estuary that the property backs onto. The garden is a quiet area with several areas to sit with others for a chat or away from others and enjoy watching the various birds that visit. The willy wagtails are at home enough to possibly come quite close to people. On the suggestion on of the hosts we went to Backbeach Cafe Restaurant for dinner with friends. Other places to eat that the hosts suggested were the Parade Hotel (no takeaway alcohol unfortunately) which is just down the road or a multitude of options about a 30 minute walk along the estuary in the centre of Bunbury. If you want to take a longer walk (about 50 minutes) a walk around the return walk will take you along the Mangrove walk Koombana Bay. This walk also goes close to the Dolphin Discovery Centre, which is a great place to interact with dolphins and a lot closer to Perth than other options. The rooms are comfortable, each with an en-suite and snack making facilities. There was a variety options available for the continental breakfast that seemed to cater for all tastes and requirements. The downside about putting in this review is that you might book to stay at the Boathouse when I want to.
