Good accommodation for price, our room was a good size but very dark, we needed light on even during day. The food and service in bar and restaurant was excellent. Disturbed early each morning between 5.30 and 6.30 by either bins being emptied or deliveries to onsite bottle shop but quiet enough to get good nights sleep. Overall would recommend.

We stayed in the motel and also used the bar/restaurant during our stay. Received a $25 voucher per room for use on site.
Given the age of the place, we thought our rooms were adequate - clean(ish), comfortable and spacious. Nice and warm too.
I slept well. The 3 people I was travelling with, not so well.
Bar was bustling when we arrived and noisy AF - not a bad thing. Good to see locals using the place. Drinks were on the expensive side.
Restaurant was similarly busy. That's a good sign. Piss-poor places don't have customers; this place had plenty! Meals were reasonably priced and service was fast. Good sized servings too.
Pre and after visit service from staff was excellent and they helped us to retrieve an item that we had left behind.

We new the Rose Hotel was old but the web photos looked quite ok. We were very disappointed with the room as it was VERY old. The wood furniture looked extremely tired, the colours in the room drab and dull and the shower recess in need of renewal (lots of mould). There appears to be an old and new section to the motel units, Rooms 1-11 older than 12-26. We were in the old section. Due to covid restrictions, the Restaurant was full and extremely busy. Meals were quite good.

Brilliant experience.
I had booked for one night and before arrival I booked another night. A lovely young lady called and advised she’d noticed my 2nd booking and shuffled rooms around so I had the same room for 2 nights.
The parking is free for all so you’re not guaranteed parking outside your room, or parking at all for that matter. The 1st I left my car on the street. No big deal.
The room was immaculate and the bed was comfy. Shower was hot and you can walk to many local restaurants and bars.
It was a little noisy early in the morning as tradies left for work, but that’s everywhere at the moment so not the hotels fault.
A HUGE bonus was the $25 per night voucher to spend at the restaurant/bar adjoins the property. That brought the room cost down considerably as I used both vouchers.
I’ve been staying in Bunno over 25 years now and I’ll definitely come back to this place again.

1st time at this establishment. Called to book as we were driving up home from Denmark and manager managed to fit us in (following distancing restrictions of course)
Upon arrival, greeted warmly and seated promptly. Even the young lady at the counter was friendly and welcoming even though they were busy.
My child has dietary restrictions and the menu has ample vegan and gluten-free choices which i loved - even glass noodles, well done guys.
Food came out quickly less than 15minutes from ordering. Serving sizes were big, so it's value for money. What else can I say, we will definitely come back

food was amazing , staff could not help enough to look after guests for a birthday function.the variety for platters on offer from the venue was great from vegan to meat and chicken.The food was of great quality across the the range we had. good venue clean and ready to go. could not be more helpful .

I had linguine marinara the seafood was adequate but it was drowned in a tomato paste based sauce that was sweet. Eew.
Loads of inadequate sauce left on my plate and some on my shirt.
They were changing the wine list and did not have the first three wines I ordered.

Booked a table Friday night , very busy and noisy. Had to get seated by bar staff who weren't welcoming, in fact giggling about the booking list with no thought that customers might think that rude. No explanation that it's not table service in their restaurant. Food OK but raw roasted vegetables and fatty meat. Good prices though .

It’s honestly not easy to write a complaint during these times but was disappointed today when we visited the bar for a drink and some lunch. It’s a Tuesday and the bar was not busy (5 people including us two in the front bar). I waited to be served and was the only person at the bar needing service. In 10 minutes, 3 different staff members saw me waiting to order and didn’t acknowledge me. We left and went elsewhere. I then called to speak with a manager and left my number. No call has been received.

This was our second visit as we were so impressed on our last visit from Perth. Meals were just as good as we remembered and it was a super busy Wednesday lunchtime. Staff were very good and our meals were large and excellent quality. We will return on our next trip down south.
