We had a ground floor room. We had booked a double but had been upgraded into a family room at no extra charge. The managers were both so cheery and helpful. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The cook-top, microwave and large assortment of crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils were much appreciated. We will definitely stay here again when needing accommodation in Warrnambool.

This motel is right on the Main Street but you would never know it. It is very quiet and peaceful. We stayed two nights in a ground floor unit which was easy to access and not many steps from the car park. John, at the front desk, was a great guy full of helpful info and very cheerful. The room itself was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The bathroom in particular was spotless. We never thought that in Australia in summer we would have to turn the heat on in the room, but we did and it worked well. The motel is very close to downtown and shopping.

Basic, clean accommodation close to shops and attractions. We stayed 2 nights and the room was adequate for our needs, bed was very comfortable. If booking a spa room bear in mind the tub can only comfortably fit 1 person. Good budget-friendly motel in the heart of Warrnambool.

We booked our family into Mahogany Motel, for a visit to our beautiful town. when we arrived the owner was so helpful and friendly, he also showed us the family unit they will stay, it is so clean and fresh also the only motel not charging an arm and leg over the summer. we will be using them again.

Location, location! Wow what a gem of a hotel in the heart of Warrnambool. The hosts couldn’t do enough for you & the room was spotless and comfortable. The hotel was set back from the highway so very quiet of a night time to sleep. The after hours checkin went smoothly & it was a short walk to restaurants, the Main Street & supermarket. I am a travel agent and would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Warrnambool. It’s a great little 3 star hotel and reasonably priced.Thanks Marty and Steve we will be back !

My wife and I stayed at this motel for three nights on a Travel Auction. The motel was scrupulously clean in all areas. I was greeted at reception with a friendly smile and attitude. We had breakfast on one morning, it was very fresh and tasty. I would recommend the Mahogany Motel to anyone looking for a place to stay for a few nights. It is close to all services in Warrnambool.

Spent one night at the Mahogany Motel on our way through to SA. The location was an easy walk to the city centre and the beach. Our dog was welcomed and a bowl and bags were left for us in the room. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Friendly owners at reception with good and prompt replies to queries via email. Would stay again.

John and Sue are excellent hosts, very kind and friendly. The bathroom and room were very clean and nice and tidy. Great place to stay for comfort, fantastic price and nice and close to the centre of Warrnambool. Big thumbs up from us! Thank you guys.

We stayed here for 2 nights during a wintery long weekend on the Great Ocean Road and it was EXCELLENT. The room was large and clean with plenty of storage space, a heater and electric blankets on the bed. As well as a double bed and sofa, there was a very useful kitchenette (sink, kettle, toaster and microwave) and a clean bathroom. The host was a lovely Chinese lady who made us feel extremely welcome. We ordered breakfast to our room and we were glad we did: 26 dollars for cooked breakfasts and orange juice in bed. I would definitely stay here again.

This motel is great value. Have stayed here many times. Rooms are not new but have been refurbed over time and present very well. Bathrooms in particular have new basins, toilets and tapware. Showers are equipped with water saver heads.
In room breakfasts are absolutely huge ! and cheap. Only complaint is the chairs in the room are way too low for the benches used for laptops or to eat, but generally good value for the room. $99 for a queen room on a Saturday night is unbeatable for Warrnambool.
