Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the second time we have stayed at this establishment, first was a cabin and this time was an ensuite site. The sites aren’t large but they are large enough to be comfortable and the ensuite was nice and clean. A shopping centre is just down the road and the beach is only a short drive so it is a good location.

This is the worst motel I have been so far. The pictures are not as how they are in actual. The cabin good for 6 persons is so small. The toilet is so old and tiny. We paid for 6 persons and were only given 2 pillows and 2 towels. No linens; no towels; no soaps and no pillows provided for the bunk beds although we paid for 6 persons. Internet is useless and none from us was able to use. The park is also very small that it is very hard to drive inside. No BBQ area in the place and there is a signage that BBQs are prohibited. The swimming pool is small and absolutely no area for children to play. No jumping pillow as how it was advertised. Lots of insects in the room as well. Worst of all, caretaker is very rude. If you want to have a good holiday, please save yourself by not booking to this place.

We planned to stay one night in this motel but changed the stay to 2 nights. The rooms we had were clean, it was a quiet location. The lady in charge was very friendly and helpful and we took her recommendation for a place for dinner.

Thankyou Tracey for your terrific review. It was our pleasure to host all the families and an absolute delight to see all the smiling faces. After the year of COVID, it is also wonderful to hear laughter echoing through the park once more. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon...

Picture makes place look big, rooms are tiny, apartment its not. Got told one thing then got the other, the owner seems nice but when questioned about the room got told that what it is. Had no other place but suddenley had a cancellation and if want extra 500 plus , like what the. Rooms had old pull out bed couch nut it was tied down and screwed tight so u can use it. Old stained couch. The place itself is run down. The kids playground needs a makeover and fenced. The bouncing area ok. Everthing tiny. Laundry side ok. Play room so old pool table needs to replace the cloth. Just old. Not a place for a family of 5.

Dom, your wife booked the poolside apartment and the room layout was explained clearly to her over the phone, with you in the background listening. We did discuss the larger apartment at the time your wife called, but again, you commented that the Superior Apartment price was too expensive. We also emailed you the link to the photos on our website, thus you were well aware of the style of apartment you booked. When you enquired about the Two Bedroom Superior apartment, again, on your arrival, you were advised it was much larger but you advised your wife that it was too expensive, thus you settled on the Two Room apartment by pool. The children’s playground is just over 12months old and the jumping pillow is a hit with kids of all ages. The couch beds have been deactivated as they are not required in your apartment style, as there are enough beds to sleep your family of five, or did you have more family come to stay, without notifying reception? Given your high expectations, maybe you should have upgraded to the Superior family apartment, which was fully renovated during 2020, it may well have suited your expectations!, yet, without the 5 star resort price tag.....

Needing a weekend break, we decided to book a one-bedroom motel unit here. Most motels have just the bedroom and en-suite, but this one was much better. As well as a kitchen, we had a small dining area, lounge and a walk-in robe inside the bedroom. Although the bed was not the most comfortable we had ever slept in, neither was it the worst. We both had a fair night's sleep over the weekend, so we really cannot complain. The only thing we found annoying was the electric blanket on the bed. The controls were in a awkward spot, so we took the electric blanket off completely. Although we were fairly close to the main road, noise was not a problem. The management were friendly, so we had no problems there, either.

Booked for two nights-24/25 Dec Check out after first night. Got skin rash allergy from bedding Spoke with Management and informed them about it but no use. That was not a great experience. Management gave a useless excuse that we didn't inform in the morning when it was Dec 25 and they were closed till late. We checked out after that. Money minded people. They can not take simple feedback. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

We did respond to your report of a reaction to the bedding. However, given you did not report the incident until 9pm on the day you chose to leave, we were unable to communicate with the linen service until the following morning. Once we had lodged the report with them, we provided you with their email response, which, in summary, advised that sometimes, people with with high sensitivities, have reported the sheets to cause them some discomfort, due to the cleaning chemicals used. They also advised the name of the cleaning products they used, which we also passed onto you, so that you could be aware, for future travel. Although you checked out very late on Christmas night, the emergency bell was active & monitored, yet you chose not to utilise that option, the reception was also open in the morning & again after lunch to cater for families checking in on Christmas Day - thus you had several opportunities to raise your concerns early that morning. Nevertheless you made the most of your time in Warrnambool, choosing not to attend a medical clinic, to receive treatment for your condition, but to spend the day exploring out beautiful region....

We stayed in early January. We had a lovely site situated between the jumping pillow and playground. The pool was well used and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling. Having one way access for vehicles is great, creating a safer environment for the kids playing on bikes and scooters.

Thank you for you review Stephanie, its wonderful to read that you and the children enjoyed your stay. The site you were on is very popular with families for the exact reasons you listed. We love that children of all ages can ride their bikes etc, in the same direction as the cars, making it safe & fun at the same time! The Jumping Pillow has certainly been a hit with kids of all ages and even the big kids have fun too!!! We hope that you will return to stay with us again. Its also pleasing to read that you found our staff to be helpful and smiling - we all love our jobs, as we get to help families make life long memories of their camping adventures

The cabin we booked was classed as a one bedroom apartment but it actually had 2 bedrooms. It was spacious, open plan & well equipped with a really comfortable queen bed. There was a small lobby area as you entered the second bedroom with a wardrobe & mirror with the bathroom leading from it. We were in Cabin 10 right next to the pool and handy for the BBQ & laundry. There was also an outside area with a table & chairs but unfortunately it was too cool to use. The woman on reception was exceptionally warm & friendly & we felt right at home. Excellent value for money!

This park was very small but did have a little playground and bouncing pillow. Being a cold place it would have been nice to have a fire. It’s also very noisy where we were all hours of the night as it’s bordered by a main road. Being pet friendly was handy but not happy I couldn’t take my tiny puppy into the games room when it was raining! The en-suites are outdated and ours wasn’t clean. The gardens were lovely. The owners were friendly but we won’t be staying here again.

Hello Anne-Maree, we would like to take the opportunity to clarify some of the points you have raised. As our park is located in the city of Warrnambool, CFA guidelines specifically deny open fires within the city limits, except in designated council park area's. We are pet friendly on our campsites and as such, we require all our campers to sign our pet policy on arrival which clearly outlines the communal area's that your pets are not allowed to enter. You did sign the policy at check-in & were provided with a copy of the policy for you to review at any time during your stay, to ensure you were doing the right thing with your dog.The communal area's, which are off limits to all pets, include the camp kitchen, games room, jumping pillow & pool - the reason for the pet policy is to ensure all our guests, including those that are not travelling with pets, are able to enjoy their holiday while staying with us. Obviously we want to ensure all guests feel safe in these communal areas, and guests health is also an important factor given allergies to pet hair etc. The last thing we would ever want to occur, would be for your dog to feel insecure and lash out at a child, in a communal play area, thus spoiling a child's holiday & the child potentially spending time in hospital as a result of you not following our pet policy - you will find that pet policies in caravan parks all over Australia, are very similar. It is a shame that you did not give our staff the opportunity to rectify the issue with your ensuite, given you stayed with us for 4 days and had several conversations with our team, over those days, the issue could have been rectified instantly. Everyone is human & if there was something that wasn't to your liking, at least pay the staff, the courtesy of allowing them to rectify the issue, rather than posting a review, days later. Thank you for recognizing the hard work our team put into presenting our park in the best possible light.
