Detailed Reviews
What a ripper of a place. Centrally located with a view of the ocean from the front step. The rooms were scrupulously clean and without that awful, cheap disinfectant smell that is becoming so pervasive. I arrived after a stressful journey to be met by Helen on the front desk who immediately offered me a cup of tea and a handmade biscuit. The facilities were fantastic with a fridge and clean kettle to make tea. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will stay again. It isn't a flash resort, but for the price, that is not what you are expecting. It is cosy and homely and very cost effective. Plenty of parking.

I've given four stars because while this is a simple motel it is cheap. It is not a trendy hotel, nor is it located in the heart of town or right by the coast. It's not got a pool if that's what you are after. In fact at the time of my visit even the main sign seemed to have been absent....
But what makes this a viable option is that it's one of the cheapest motels in Warrnambool. That alone makes it worth a look if you don't want to stay in a hostel but don't want/need anything much. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the rooms here. Everything about it is totally functional from the locks and windows to the shower and air-con. Even the staff were lovely and full of helpful advice.
If you are wanting a simple and functional, clean and comfortable room without the price tag and don't mind forgoing some of the fancy pants stuff this is a great option. Off-street parking is a plus and if you are heading east after your stay you are already on the right road to head out of town and hit the Great Ocean Road.

Discovered this little gem on the 4th evening of our driving trip from Perth. From the start, the welcome and help we received from our host Ian was wonderful. Offered a choice of rooms we decided the panoramic widow views of Warnambool and Lady Bay would be something special to wake up to and we were right! Sitting enjoying breakfast at our own private window seat in our room was indeed a great start to the day.
Our room was very comfortable and cozy.
You know when you can just tell when the hosts take pride in their work? Well, we could just tell that Ian and his team take pride in the Raglan. Clean, tidy, well presented and all at an excellent price.
Definitely going to be our base when we come back to explore the region next time.
Well done Ian & Raglan team. We'll be seeing you again for sure!
Well done!
Brett & Christine

I posed a negative review 24 hours ago regarding the Raglan Motor Inn which has now been removed, the owner Ian spends more time on removing visitors honest responses on their reviews regarding their stays at this place than rectifying the issues. after receiving $2,000 in damages to my vehicle parked at his motel with no security camera support and his absolute dishonesty this place needs to be shut down, he is an embarrassment to the Warrnambool community which will effect their negative response to the city. There is probably 100s if not 1,000s of who have stayed at this place whos reviews have been removed to protect himself and blind other potential users. Be warned

From the moment we checked in, we were impressed by the incredible customer service given by Ian and Sally!
We booked a family room as initially, the whole family was meant to travel. At the end, it was only my daughter and me as my husband had to stay with our son in Melbourne.
We were very slow in asking the Motel if we could be changed to a smaller room. Ian was just incredible at understanding this and out of the principle of exceeding the clients expectations, he charged us as if we were in a double room.
Who does that?
An owner that understands the principle of adding massive value tonite clients.
The room was nice, comfy and very clean!
An absolute gem with a great location!
Just book it and enjoy top class service from Ian and Sally.
Many many many thanks

We stayed 4 nights exploring the region and golfing. The room was on the main road but the double glazing minimised the noise and was more than compensated by the views across Fletcher Jones gardens to the ocean. Location was only minutes from the main shopping and cafe precinct. The room was typical in size but the cleanliness and amenities provided in the room were first class. Ian was most helpful in providing information regarding the area. We would certainly use this motel again if staying in Warrnambool.

Great value for money. Our room was very clean, tidy, quite modern and soundproof. Good size table and chairs also. Gentleman at reception was very helpful with information and advice on getting around town. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It indeed offered everything we needed. The electric blanket made our sleep very warm and cosy. The beautiful sea view was a big surprise! Owners were so nice and lovely.

I cannot answer the requirement for a credit card as we pre-paid our stay. It is close to town, but suggest using a car to get around to the restaurants & the shore.
