A standard motel, great for a stopover. Perfectly clean and electric blankets were supplied which was a huge plus as the room was freezing when we arrived.
A kitchenette in the room which was brilliant, the only negative was how thin the walls are as you could hear everything going on in the room next door

We stayed here for one night after spending the day driving the great ocean road and it was a perfect stay.
We had a 4 bedroom townhouse in the centre. It was extremely spacious. 2 bedrooms had a huge bed and the remaining two each had two single beds.
The bathrooms are huge with towels and the bits you need.
It had a lovely balcony exited from the main bedroom upstairs and a large back garden with off the road parking.
The service was excellent, without asking we were given a map and told of where we could go to eat and what was in the area. Thank you Sue! Cannot recommend staying here enough!

Many of these rooms are like small apartments without shared walls. It's always a lovely place to stay. About 1.5km from the centre of town, spacious and always peaceful. Rooms are huge and plenty of parking.

We had booked an apartment at the Best Western at the last minute due to attending a funeral.
Sheryl at the front desk, allowed us to have our apartment early prior to the usual check in time and her service and assistance was very much appreciated.
It was a very spacious apartment at that.
Some features included a full lounge/ dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with a full size fridge/ freezer - not the usual small 80 litre variety, however it is an apartment for several people.
Beds were comfortable, both bathrooms had showers, basins, toilets and all toiletries. The spa bath did have a few dirty rings around it though, so it was not used.
The only issue we had was the front main bedroom with the balcony.
There was the traffic noise going past most of the night and with the apartments being allocated at the front of the property along a main road, didn't help with sleep quality.
Not sure this was because it was a Friday night or unusually busy, but not much you could do about it.
The motel does extend further back into the property, which looks to be a better option if you are requiring anything smaller than the apartments.

Check-in experience was good and gardens nice. The room photos are a bit misleading, very dated and tired in reality, very much an 80s motel that could do with some updating. Cleanliness of rooms was not great. I would definitely stay elsewhere next time.

More of a budget travellers stay. All basic amenities were provided and the lady on the front counter was helpful with where we could find dinner. We were down the back where you couldn't hear the roaf traffic, however you can hear the people next door. You need to be a firm mattress lover to enjoy your nights sleep.

Pathetic customer service. They know how to charge money on the credit card but does not know how to generate tax invoice.
We checked out on 5th Jan after 3 night stay but have not received the tax invoice until today (20th Jan), despite making 7 phone calls to followup, writing emails, even have booking.com representative call the property. The lady that receives the phone always says she does not know how to generate the invoices, her daughter knows how to do it but she is busy and will revert back. It is shocking to see how a reputed brand like Best Western can be so callous about their customers.
15 days after checkout, no tax invoices yet, lots of time wasted on followup, very frustrating. We are unable to claim the expenses because the property administrator is running a business not knowing how to generate invoice (but knows how to charge money on the card :-).
If only i knew in advance the experience would be this harrowing, i would have never ever chosen to stay at this property.

The fittings in the room were old and rusty. The shower head was broken and multiple lights didn't work. They had actually covered some lights with duct tape. The nice colonial-looking building in the marketing photos is only some of the rooms, I ended up in a roadside motel-style cabin. I won't be staying there again, and wouldn't recommend it either.

Great location just off a main road, and easy to locate. Accomodation well maintained and is quiet. Short drive to town with shops and eateries nearby. Have stayed previously and would return and recommend.
