Very clean, photos on line make the rooms look more modern than they were - carpet in my room was a bit stained, room had a slight tinge of cigarette smoke smell, seemed to be coming through via the bathroom fan. Spacious rooms, bed is quite firm and not overly wide, sheets rustle when you move (over starched). Electric blanket on the bed, didn't use it but I was very warm during the night and never felt cold. Bathroom was very modern and spacious, like the online pics, fan rattled a lot and was noisy. Power points next to the bed (on one side only) were very handy and easy to get to. Room warmed up very quickly with the reverse aircon. Didn't realise my fridge wasn't on until I went to get the milk out and it wasn't cold, once turned on it cooled very quickly. A little noise coming through from the room next door, not appreciated at 3am, though. Plenty of parking, spacious compared to some, with a couple of mins walking distance to CBD and places to eat. Charge back to some restaurants and pubs, which offer very good food (tried several now). On line it said continental breakfast, but cooked was also available delivered to your room. Lovely people running it, check in & check out was quick and easy. Close to the main road through Warrnambool but didn't notice any traffic noise at night. Walking distance to the coast/beach, about 15-20 mins, but easy to get to. Stayed in 4 accommodation places in Warrnambool over the last year, others were better, but of course cost more, so I felt this one was very good based on the price of the room, facilities & room setup. Bigger cups for coffee would be great (mugs), as the ones in the room were too small.

Dear dragonlady31964, Thank you for providing feedback on your stay. There are a few points I would like to clarify. Our motel has many different rooms types, so it is important when guests decide on a room type, that they look at the pictures attached to that specific room. I say this, as we are extremely accurate with our photos, we do not want any guest to be disappointed. All rooms have power points on both sides of the bed, so unsure of this comment. Our sheets are laundered by a commercial laundry service which most motels in Warrnambool use, so we have no control over the level of starch. At least you know they are clean!!! Comparing the standard queen room at our property for $84 to another’s, premium king room with spa for $189 is highly unfair, so I find it very hard to accept that the other motels in Warrnambool you stayed at are better than ours. Across all online platforms our motel rates extremely highly. We have one of the best locations in Warrnambool far from the highway (Raglan parade) and only moments to the CBD and as you say walking distance to the beach aswell. Regards, Kim

the structure is easily accessible, along the great ocean road, and has a convenient indoor parking. Very large and well furnished room with all comforts; queen size bed and equipped with thermal blanket, a real plus!
There are pubs, shops and restaurants nearby.
Structure that I recommend!

We had a deluxe two bedroom unit ( room 124) and were so impressed with the space and cleanliness. Beds were comfortable, shower was great and everything was spotless. It was surprisingly quiet even though it was booked out and it was grand final weekend. Location is perfect, so close to everything you need and an easy bike ride to the beach and playground. Took advantage of the free use of Aquazone and was a great way to fill in a couple of hours when the weather was poor. Staff are very friendly, we highly recommend the Comfort Inn and look forward to staying again.

I felt that this property was quite tired and it shows, especially in our bathroom. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was upstairs, however the stairs were not a problem for us. The apartment was very clean, the linen and towels fresh, and there was plenty of hot water. We were in room 111 which was near the top of the outside stairs and we found that every time anyone walked up or down the stairs, there was a loud reverberation in the room. The kitchen was very small, but contained sufficient crockery, cutlery and glasses, and a microwave and bar fridge. The light fitting in the kitchen was very dim which also made it quite dark. There was no flywire screen on the bedroom window. The bathroom was showing its age with knocks and scratches on the walls, and grouting which needed replacing and rust around the shower screen. The toilet lid did not stay open which was a challenge!! The sound proofing between rooms is not great if you have noisy neighbours. However the location is great, less than a block from the main shopping street.

Our family - two couples - stayed in this Comfort Inn for one night on our tour of the Great Ocean Road.
When booking, I had asked for two rooms together if possible. We were allocated two adjacent rooms which were well furnished and had tea, coffee, milk and biscuits supplied.

The manageress was extremely pleasant and helpful in supplying extra plates and cutlery. She also suggested local restaurants and gave directions, which was very useful.

This was a great stop in Warrnambool, and we would recommend highly.

Photos were taken at Loch Ard Gorge, about 1 hour from Warrnambool

I stayed in Room 121 for 3 nights. Room was a Spa Room.

The property was very centrally located, with only a 2 min walk to the main shopping center. Plenty of eating options located within a short walk, including a Sri Lankan restaurant next door to the property.

Room was neat and spacious, bed was comfortable. Medium sized TV with Foxtel was available.

There was a reasonable level of street noise, but this is only in business hours and at night it is very quiet.

Staff are friendly and will help you out. I had an issue with the fridge and this was fixed whilst I was out and about.

I enjoyed my stay here . It was a budget hotel which was centrally located at a good price.

Yeh room was spacious. Bed saggy and unsupportive. Sheets were nice tho. Room was noisy; street noise and neighbouring guests. Nice little touches like a free guest kitchen and free guest laundry (supply own soap). Microwave also in our room which I’m sure other travellers would appreciate.

Stopped here for a couple of nights. Was a great spot to stop. Clean, bigger than usual room, with good, well appointed bathroom.
Very well positioned to town, 10 mins to food locations.
Only down if you could call it one, the parking spaces are very tight and if you go out, you may lose one close to your room.
Will be back next time I’m in town.
