Dined there recently and the food was great. Excellent service. Really good staff. Centrally located. Great selection of wines. Nice atmosphere Dining room was closed but we were able to eat in the bar area. Order at the bar and they bring the meal to your table. Half serves available too. Recommended.

Stayed here for 3 nights recently and had a very comfortable room at a very reasonable price. I also ate in the restaurant the first evening and the food and the service were excellent. I was impressed at how seriously all the staff took the COVID rules by enforcing them and unlike some of the COVID naysayers in some of the reviews here , I was happy to comply.

Absolutely disgusting the stuff and the food was horrible, I must say we where treated in a very rude manner. My partner ordered a Wagyu Porterhouse steak which was $45 and it came out paper thin and over cooked and when I told the stuff about it they didn’t care at all, for that sort of money you would think it would be fantastic but no so sad to say I give this place a 0. Matt was who I told about it and all he wanted was our money and that’s it, and waitress was Alexis and same thing with a very dirty look on her face. Absolutely disgusting once again.

Found ourselves suddenly not able to travel over borders again, lucked it and got a room here, reasonable rates, ensuite also, stayed in room 14, the Red Room, lives up to its name!! No breakfast due to covid but very central, good sized room, owners extremely friendly and helpful, lovely people, I would question the fact that no tea/coffee facilities as plenty of room, but lovely and comfortable, noisy at night but we knew that would be the case so no issue there, parking was a bit dodgy and I cannot say the meal on my partners birthday was fantastic, my meal ok but birthday boys was very tough steak. When we left we received a call to say that I had left a clothing item behind which was then posted to me on the day, great service, highly recommend the place but let down by no coffee/tea and so so meals…

We stayed for an overnight on our road trip along the coast to Robe. This is a beautiful historic place to stay which is also good value. The management were friendly and efficient in all my dealings and the service staff over dinner were exceptionally helpful. The dining room is lovely, the food well presented and there is a good wine selection by the glass. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. This hotel certainly exceeded my expectations for a country pub

Very limited menu to select dishes from for a special dinner. I chose the chicken caesar pizza and it had no sauce on the base of it, It tasted very bland and I did not finish my meal. It was a disappointing meal for a special birthday celebration.

Hotel Warrnambool looks after single dinners exactly how they want to be looked after. Attentive wait staff who know that you do not need to spend ages looking at the menu, the offer of magazines or the newspaper to read and the wifi password for you to use your ipad with. The meal I had was full of flavour and filling.

Great service, fun entertainment, excellent bar food and wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend this pub to locals or travellers alike. Whoever runs this place knows their stuff!! Tiffany lamps and casual bar tables make this a really relaxing place and the wood fire on a cold winters night is icing on the cake!!!
