Welcome to the Black Bull Motel. The Black Bull Motel has now been fully renovated and has no reflection upon the Strzelecki Motor Lodge. Come and explore the many close by attractions, Walhalla, Port Albert, Morwell Rose Gardens, Rosedale Speedway to mention a few. Allow us to be used as your holiday base to venture the many attractions available in the Gippsland. There is free parking available to guests onsite and parking outside for the larger vehicles. We now have available a EVC for the charging of vehicles. A Complimentary Continental Breakfast is available in the dining room for all our guests and WIFI is free. We look forward to welcoming you to the Black Bull Motel.

The new owners Paul and Sue are very welcoming. The motel is easily accessible in a great location and is a flat easy walk to the town centre, shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is plentiful and the staff are friendly.

Our sincere thanks to Paul, Sue and the team at the Black Bull. A great place to stay and highly recommended!
It had been a while since we had stayed (pre renovation) however, the welcome we received on arrival was very warm and friendly much like old friends returning.
The renovations are an amazing transformation throughout. The rooms are warm, inviting and tastefully done. The beds are comfortable and the quality linen makes for a great nights sleep. There is everything you need for an overnight stay or, as we did, several days.
The breakfast room is light, bright and inviting. Everything is spotlessly clean! The Breakfast is perfect to start the day with a warm greeting from Sue and daughter when you enter the room and a wide variety of bread, cereals and condiments to cater for all.
Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to our next visit.

A friendly greeting from the new owners of the motel made us feel very welcome. They filled us in on their planned renovations which sound great.
The rooms were spotless and comfortable with absolutely everything needed. The breakfast was perfect with everything fresh and aplenty.
All the staff were friendly and efficient.
As regular visitors to Traralgon to see our grandson we will definitely be back to this fine establishment watch the changes as they unfold.

No issues on the bedroom. Service was fair. FREE BREAKFAST even if their rate was cheap. We paid higher rate in a bigger hotel before and there is no free breakfast. One of the staffs was really accomodating and even help his clients.

Checkin was friendly, fast and helpful. We were very happy with the room. It was recently remodelled and the bathroom was sparkling and looked new. The bedroom was spacious with a pair of comfortable arm chairs as well as a small dining table. Great fast was excellent and was served in a large dining room. To sum up, great value and a lovely experience.

I was in town on business and booked two rooms. The rooms were freshly renovated, exceptionally clean and well appointed with very comfortable beds. My colleague and I both agreed that the rooms were amongst the cleanest and most comfortable that we have stayed in (and we travel a lot around Australia). I would highly recommend when you are in town.

This Motel looks aged from the street but looks can be deceiving. We had a twin room with 2 double beds. The whole room had been recently renovated and was lovely and plenty big enough. The managers could not be any more helpful. It is on a service road so not as noisy as the main road. The only fault we could find would be not enough hanging space for the towels. We would most definately stay here again.

Just spent three nights here. Welcomed on arrival by Paul and Sue who were very hands on proprietors. Continental breakfast was included and the room was clean and comfortable. We would certainly stay there again when next in the area.

Made very welcome for our 7 night stay. Room was immaculate and a great size! Bed was exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was great. Paul and Sue and their staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended and convenient for the town of Traralgon which has great facilities!
