Creek Cottage met all our expectations for a great weekend stay. The owner/manager was very attentive and checked in to make sure everything was okay. There was plenty of breakfast items to feed a family of four adults for our two breakfasts. The location is great, with just a short walk through the parkland to the main street shops and eateries.
No hesitation in recommending to others and would definitely stay again.

Stayed in this accommodation for 5 nights in order to explore Gippsland. Was a great base for day trips!
Beautiful accommodation in the Queen Studio, with all the amenities you would need. A very comfortable stay, with the luxury of sitting by the fireplace.
Merril is a fantastic host, and was very responsive and accommodating 🙂.

Just FYI - it is for a quiet getaway, as the accommodation spaces are very tightly packed and therefore noise does travel.

Overall, a great stay! Thank you Merril.

An overnight stay in the Queen Suite. Pure luxury. Friendly helpful owner. Beautiful garden. Top of the range fit out.
Very comfy bed. Plenty of towels. More than generous amount of food provided (but not quite sure how to cook our eggs for breakfast in the microwave!)
Highly recommend this beautifully appointed apartment

Location, size, facilities, extras, WOW. This cute little place was perfect
It warmed quickly on arrival, had 2 generous bedrooms with a well resourced bathroom.
The owners have thought of everything especially in the kitchen, providing all we needed for a yummy breakfast....thank you!
We will return. 😀

Recently stayed in room 3, a motel style room. The host was helpful and the room pleasantly decorated in a french provincial style. It was very clean and well maintained. The accommodation is walking distance to the main shops and across from a creek reserve. Parking is off road. The bathroom had a shower over a spa which might be a challenge for those mobility impaired to climb into but a grab handle is provided. Heating and cooling is via a split system A/C which did its job well. The TV is wall mounted and strangely started glowing in the middle of the night much to our surprise! Breakfast was a simple continental style offering. Nice treats were left by the host which were appreciated. Room is fairly priced for the features offered.

Creek cottages is ideally situated opposite the picturesque Traralgon creek and a short stroll from town. Merryl is wonderful and ensures the stay is comfortable. The b&b itself is well equipped, beautiful decor and comfortable beds. I would recommend this as not only the best accomodation in Traralgon but it takes the cake for Gippsland too. Highly recommend

👍My husband and I stayed here on Saturday and Sunday night.
We had the studio apartment which was very clean and decorated in a lovely French style.
Studio was close to town.
👎now the down side .
Saturday night was rather noisy with noise coming across the way in the direction of town,I assume it was a pub.
I thought we had booked into a bed and breakfast ,not just a bed.
I have stayed in B&Bs in Aus and overseas and you would wander down to the dining area for either a very filling continental breakfast or as in most cases a cooked one.
On our arrival the host quickly showed us the draws and fridge that contained cereals ,bread ,juice and the eggs that I was told you can cook in the microwave 😬.(there was no stove top) but as I said to my husband I didn’t come away to cook and then clean up.
I think our host saw the bewildered look on my face and then added “oh they do a nice cooked breakfast around the corner cafe “ SERIOUSLY😱.
I’m sorry but this is NOT my idea of a B&B,I really think it should be advertised as a self contained unit with some food thrown in.
Also in bathroom it was a bath/ shower situation that may not be so good for older guests.
By all means stay here but please be away of the situation .

Wow wow wow. This place had absolutely everything. It was truly exceptional. Every little ‘extra’ you could think of. Beds were so comfy and they had everything so well set up. The grounds were gorgeous and being right opposite the park was amazing. So close to the centre of town yet it felt like a million miles away. Thanks so much. Will recommend and revisit!!!

This is a most outstanding B &B . The decor is very tasteful with the most beautiful linen, towels and all extras that you need. The most cleanest I have come across anywhere and attention to detail is exceptional. The location is within easy walking distance to the shopping centre and restaurants. The owner is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble . I would have no trouble is recommending this B&B for a overnight stay or longer.

We travelled to the area with friends and each couple had a beautiful room. The decor of the apartments was supurb, as were the appointments and facilities. There was a lovely patio where we enjoyed evening drinks and the generous breakfast provisions. The location is quiet and peaceful, but within an easy walk to town.
