Due to last minute planning, booked quickly and late. Was looking for 2 nights in Traralgon and my priorities were: King bed, kitchen facilities and laundry.
Found Montford Manor. Didn't really have time to check it out properly but lucked out. Windsor Suite was a huge bedroom, king bed, lounge, bedside chairs, decorative fireplace, large wall TV with bay window overlooking pool. It came with a massive bathroom - spa and walk in shower, double basins and cabinets PLUS a large walkin robe. Then there was the kitchen, compact but thoughtfully and generously appointed. I had noticed "continental breakfast" on the website but what we got was truly appreciated. A fully automatic coffee machine with beans, quality teabags, 4 jars of different cerals, toast condiments a fridge stocked with 3 different milks, juice, yoghurt, 4 different types of bread, butter, home stewed fruit, jams and lemon butter plus fresh eggs!!! I should also mention the homemade cookies and port in the common lounge availiable all day. Treat yourself!

This immaculate and welcoming luxury bed & breakfast was everything we wanted and then some. Our hosts David & Melinda who live on site made us feel like family guests rather than paying customers.

We stayed in the extra large Windsor room but any of the five rooms will comfortably accommodate a couple.

The common areas adjacent to and overlooking the pool provide enough room for individuals or groups - we would recommend a day on site by the pool, tennis court and bbq, that’s for our next visit!

We spent one night at Montfort Manor, but wish we could have stayed longer. The house is simply magnificent and is set in scenic gardens with a pool and a tennis court. The bedrooms are spacious and very tastefully decorated and there are several comfy spots throughout the house to relax with a good book. The goodies supplied for breakfast were homemade and/or locally sourced. Melinda and David are excellent hosts. Their attention to detail and to ensuring that we felt welcome were first rate. Thank you for the warm fire and the home baked yo-yos. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at Montfort Manor.

I would dare say that this is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in.. it is perfect for families with kids. The pool, tennis court, rooms, bathrooms, living areas, landscape of the property was very very well maintained. Each and every corner of the property had something unique about it.

The hosts Melinda & David are gem of a couple.. they were always available if we needed them and the highlight was the caramel slice and a plum cake that Melinda made for our stay.

We stay at holiday homes few times a year and will rate Montfort Manor right on top of our list and will definitely be visiting this property many more times in the future.

Thanks a lot Melinda & David for accommodating our group at such a short notice and making us feel at home throughout our break.

We enjoyed a relaxing two night stay in the Windsor room. The room was huge (as was the bathroom). Comfortable, clean and nicely decorated, our room had a lovely view of the pool. We were warmly welcomed with fresh home baked cake and our fridge had delicious homemade and/or locally produced bread, jam, plum compote , orange juice, eggs, yoghurt & milk. Coffee pods and twining tea was also at hand. The grounds are delightful for a stroll and you can hear the kookaburras. There is a lovely bbq area and tennis court, and if you have the inclination a lap pool as well as the the other pool. They had every amenity for a longer stay - big walk in robe, kitchen with utensils for cooking, ironing board, laundry for travellers' use. Highly recommend.

We are so glad you chose our Windsor Suite for your relaxing stay with us. Isn't that room huge? We love spoiling our guests with our local produce and home baked goodies. We also love the bird life that this property attracts pelicans, eagles, kookaburras, rosellas, ducks and some many more species (bird lovers delight) that we too enjoy our strolls around our gardens. We look forward to having you stay with us again.

What can I possibly say apart from amazing, superb home from home.

We stayed at this amazing house for 13 weeks for work and could not of been made to feel more at home. David and Melinda are wonderful hosts whom go out their way at every opportunity Nothing is ever a worry.

The rooms are big and comfortable house is spotless and very clean to a high standard. Large open fire place and office location. Small gym tennis courts. we stayed over the COVID pandemic and everything was in place to make us feel safe.

We loved it so much we are returning in April for another 15 weeks stay at this beautiful house.

Don’t bother looking anywhere else apart from Montfort Manor your not be disappointed.

What an absolute delight to have your team stay with us for two extended stays whilst you worked in the area. With being away from their families for so long it was nice that they were able to feel at home and even relax with a bit of fishing or having a swim at the end of a long day. We certainly are going to miss the company of you all... but you never know there may be future projects that bring you back to Montfort Manor or maybe you could just come back and relax.

This B&B provides luxuries combined with the comfort of a home. Our host and hostesses really took care of us. They took effort to get to know us personally. They were welcoming, friendly and excellent bakers. The residence was quiet. Our room was spacious, very clean and had a beautiful view. The room had high quality amenities. There are common areas of a library and a grand living room with a fireplace. The layout and furniture were pleasing to the eye. Our bodies felt relaxed the moment we stepped into the residence. Montfort Manor, thank you!

A luxury B and B. We have stayed there before and wanted to share the experience this time with our friends. This time we were in a different suite which was also luxurious as was the one we stayed in last time. Our only disappointment was breakfast. Provisions were provided in the room, but space was very limited for preparation. The owners are delightful, very friendly and helpful. WE will definitely return.

My team and I have been staying at "The Manor" on and off for the last 12 months. It is a fantastic house, with beautiful gardens and facilities, but the best part of it are David and Malinda, our hosts. They almost feel like family, dropping in for drinks, joining us for parties and even preparing a surprise birthday meal complete with home made cake with sparklers. They simply go the extra mile to ensure that we are comfortable and looked after.

Roland, what an absolute pleasure it has been to have your team stay with us on and off for the past 12 months, you've certainly become more like our family. With you all so far away from your families for such long period of time, we are glad our home away from home enabled you to have some downtime and enjoy at spot of fishing, swim in the pools or play some tennis at the end of a long and sometimes stressful days. Thank you for always including us in your work milestone celebrations. We are certainly going to miss you all when your project comes to an end.
