From our first impression of the Victorian house front in a shady, leafy street, to the eye catching art on the hallways and stairs, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to 28 Mary St and St Kilda. Catherine and her staff were just the right amount of attentive; helpful with travel advice as well as giving excellent recommendations for restaurants in...

I started out looking for somewhere within walking distance of Albert Park for the Australian F1 GP, and how lucky was I to find this place. A lovely old house, sympathetically restored and full of artworks. Wonderful staff, super breakfast, comfy rooms. My first visit to St Kilda and a very enjoyable one. Thanks to all.

We have just had 2 nights, 7 & 8 March, at 28 Mary Street St Kilda B&B. Catherine & her friendly staff made us feel very welcome! Lovely old home. If website says full, then email or phone Catherine, as guests have been told they don't have rooms.....when they did have rooms. Louise, Canterbury, New Zealand.

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid October after spending a month in Australia and before heading to New Zealand. It was a wonderful way to spend our last few days in Oz. The B&B is in a beautiful large historic (but current) and comfortable home in the suburbs of Melbourne and in the hip district area of St....

There was a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. We enjoyed an extremely comfortable stay. The host could not do enough for us, with advice about the local area, ordering...

We stayed here in February 2014 for four nights, had a wonderful time and have no reservations in recommending this super B&B to others. Our room was clean and the en-suite was well equipped with lots of eco-extras thrown in. The B&B is ideally located to give good access to the city, its surrounding areas and the sites we wanted...

I politely requested a room and said my 28 month old toddler would be staying with me and was told we could not stay as they didnt know if he would sleep through the night. Apparently they only want to cater for people with no children or special anniversary weekends. We would be out all day and my son has...
