A recent one night stay showed a comfortable room, with enough amenities, good TV, tea and coffee, etc. The restaurant is good, though pricey, as others have noted. Be careful of the continental breakfast; the flat rate - not clearly signposted - is $20, which seemed a bit steep for making your own tea and two pieces of toast. There was also some kind of machine (generator? A/C unit?) going all night, which woke me up at regular intervals (and I have some hearing loss).

We were heading home to Canberra and had decided to stay in Shepparton for the night. We had booked a room without paying and were worried that we might be too late, but not only wasn't this a problem when we arrived after 8pm, but they also offered to keep the restaurant open if we wanted to dine in. Having been checking restaurant opening times in Shepparton as we got close and discovered that we would have a problem, we said yes and quickly placed our stuff in our very nice room and headed to dinner. The night time staff at reception and in the restaurant were very pleasant and we were soon eating our entree and mains. My steak was nicely prepared with potatoes and vegetables and quickly consumed. My latte coffee was very nicely prepared and hit the spot after a full day of travelling and several hours since my last coffee. Our room was very spacious, and the king size bed was comfortable. We were also delighted to be able to store our road bikes in our room. We returned for breakfast and with different staff we were not as impressed with the food or service. We asked to share a juice and ended up with two full glasses. To eat my partner opted for the Eggs Benedict which she said was bland, especially the hollandaise sauce which tased like it was a cheap bottled version. My pancakes were supposed to come with fruit, compote and double cream. The fruit was canned and the double cream was beaten runny cream and over all we were not impressed. We also received piccolo coffees that were very hot and no where near as impressive as the night before's coffee. Overall a very pleasant stay, but next time we would probably eat breakfast at one of Shepparton's many breakfast cafes.

Stayed in the rooms behind the main hotel and next to the car park so offloading luggage was easy. The room was neat with fresh linen, tidy and tastefully decorated although there was no facility for making tea/coffee. It is very much catering for people in transit. The beds were comfortable. I did not use the restaurant this time. Otherwise, I would certainly visit gain.

Recently I was required to stay in Shepparton for work, I was delighted to find that there was a mid week price that rivalled the motel the company I work for usually engages with. For business reasons this hotel was better placed for my recent trip.

Located across from Victoria Lake, it is very easy to locate. It is also walking distance to the eateries in town, however if you are overnighting the restaurant at the hotel is exquisite.

Customer service was professional and welcoming. I arrived about 19:00 and left at 04:30 so I did not really get time to do more than sleep. The room is adequately appointed and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. There is a huge chair in the corner of the room that was just wonderful to sink into to watch some television. Shower has amazing pressure and it was a good size.

Parking is very reasonable and there is an exit onto the side street making it easy to get in and out of.

Had booked a twin room overlooking the lake…on arrival we found only one bed in the room not 2 as requested. Tried speaking to the receptionist and then the manager who were both rude and said it was all fault. They refused to change the bedding situation instead moved us from the luxury room into a standard motel room at the end of the property near the train line…they then split a queen size bed into two small singles…there was no internet service whatsoever in the room…the television played up all night…it was loud in that part of the motel…very disappointed and will never stay there again.

After finally getting our daughter married, we decided to spend a couple of days heading home. Chose this hotel as it looked like a refurbished Art Deco style place, but was in fact purpose built. No matter, it was a lovely foyer and restaurant area! Checked in but was a little worried when I drove around to the room type we had chosen, but I need not have been. Rooms were great, but probably would have preferred a queen bed to give just that little bit more space in the room. Obviously recently refurbished I would say. Staff were great, and the restaurant very accommodating seeing as we came in late and only wanted something light. To be critical, just need to watch the cupboard door when you have the air con on, as we discovered that in our room (4) the door hit the air con vents and could break them if you don’t realise it.

Certainly recommend this hotel!

I was on a 2 night business trip and was lucky to get a room as the motel was fully booked. The room was very comfortable and well appointed although my window looked out on a carpark and I found myself keeping the curtains closed to ensure privacy. I had an excellent dinner at the restaurant which had a very nice atmosphere. Front office and restaurant staff were very friendly. I would definitely return but would book a room with a better view.

Went to the restaurant yesterday( public holiday). We have arrived at 7.40 pm and the first thing the waitress named Mary said to us was “you better hurry up and eat because we will be closing at 9 pm to the dot”. no greetings. nothing.
When she picked up the menus off the table, she was in such a hurry and ended up dropping some of my cutlery on the floor but never even bothered to pick them up or replace them with new ones.
When the food arrived at the table, she just slammed the food on the table and didn’t even bothered to pour water into our glasses. Mind you, this is a fine-dining restaurant and we expect high standards.
Even though the restaurant was meant to close at 9 pm, she stared packing everything up by 8.05 pm. It was very noisy in the back, dropping things and chatting. By 8.40 pm all the lights were turned off and they were ready to leave, while we were still eating. Halfway through our meal, she left the dessert at the side of the table, leaving the ice cream to melt. Restaurant closing for dining at 9 pm does not mean that the workers get to go home at 9 pm as well. The standard service should be provided until 2100 hours and the cleaning can commence afterwards. Zero stars for the service

Stayed 2 nights in an Executive Suite Labour Day long weekend.
Huge room and spa bathroom, size of 2 normal motel rooms.
Shame the restaurant wasn’t open, strange for a motel in a holiday area.
Staff were scarce too.
Maintenance and cleanliness is lacking.
Bathroom door sticks halfway which required a shove to open.
Rawl plugs left in the bathroom wall.
Lighters, bottles cans etc left in the gutter of balcony.
Curtains and drapes worn and hanging poorly.
Dirty exhaust vent.
Tired furniture. Cables for TV and writing desk across floor.
Patch up paint on door frame, just a poor look.
Spiderwebs on internal stairs, dirty carpet on entry way. Was like that for 2 days.
$23 continental breakfast is a bit steep.

We stayed here 1 night in July. We were greeted by a very welcoming lady who advised us that we had an upgrade, which was very much appreciated. The room was fantastic. It was clean, well kept, all facilities worked and the attention to detail was commendable. It had a beautiful view of the lake and the rooms were very quiet. The bed was comfortable and a choice of pillows. We had off street parking and it was well lit. Great service and wonderful professional attitude. Great job.

I am sorry I don't know, maybe a phone call to the hotel could answer that for you. I am sorry I can't be of more help. But can recommend their seafood linguine is it absolutely fabulous. Prawns Scallops fresh white fish to name a few.
