Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The place lookd good, and it had a vacancy, but the experience was spoilt by the Airconditioner being totally inefficient. a Hot night, the unit made all the right noises by hardly any cool air came out. Really spoilt the stay.
Recommend you check before accepting a room
If you need a takeeaway, can recommend Smokin Joes, good honest service and quite quick

We stayed one night at this place and while it claims a 3.5 star rating I think this is a bit optimistic. However, don't let this put you off, for $93 a night for a double with queen size bed it is good value. The motel is a short walk to the local RSL club which has good and fair priced meals as well as meal specials for seniors (poker machines are pretty hungry so be aware of this). The motel is relatively quiet with only minor road noise. Car parking is free and right at your front door. It has a fridge, jug, free tea and coffee with some biscuits as well. There is a radio/clock in the room as well. The place is getting old but its clean . There is a small pool. All the units are ground floor. The reception is helpful. Carpets need replacing and the place could do with a coat of paint, fly screens could do with a scrub as they are a bit dusty. Our room had a couple of oldish lounge chairs so you could watch the tv in a bit of comfort. The shower was ok but one of those water saving jobs which I find frustrating. The carpet had been deodorised with some foul smelling stuff that lingered for hours and I really hated the sickly smell. This was the only real criticism of the place. Would I stay again? Yes- I thought for the cost it was fine and the bed was comfortable.

Stayed just the one night on our way back to Brisbane. Very comfy and clean. Is rather dated but this made it rather unique. Staff at check in was very helpful - suggested we try the RSL for our meal - great choice. Comfy bed and we were away early in the morning. Would certainly stay there again if we are in Shepparton.

Room Tip: We asked for a quiet room off the Highway and this was supplied. No noise at all.

electric blanket did not work. two electric outlet plugs but only ONE wall point under the bed side table so had to crawl on my knees to plug in the light. No coffee and insufficient milk and the response was basically I am not there so go to the shop. had to pull the bed out from the wall to find the switch. OH&S issue for a guest!!
electric blanket cord pilled under the mattress so you did not see it. For $155 per night this a bit over the top. Customer service NIL!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE.

Stayed last night traveled by car $600 km website stated clean rooms. Well carpets looked like they have never been clean and never slept as there were ants in the double and one single. Stated also that there were electric blankets on every bed yes there was but nowhere to plug them in. So disappointed will never go here again and will be telling people not to stay at the Tudor house.

positives - friendly staff
negaitves - noisy reverse cycle heater, a toilet that didn't flush properly (with a sign along with it that tells you how to fix it - why don't they just fix it?! - cleaning staff who just unlock your door without knocking, dingey room.

Stayed here for a night whilst fulfilling family commitments. Walking distance to RSL, Pubs, food, shopping, actually pretty much everything! So friendly and welcoming, will definitely stay again. Great spot, and awesome little pool area. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the bed I slept in was as good as mine at home. Had trouble getting up!

This motel was very nice and quiet. Nice layout and our bed seemed huge and comfy. Very clean but old. Nice shower and soft towels. The kids enjoyed the pool and we all had a good nights sleep. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

A great room, quite large & well-equipped. Comfy bed & after travelling approximately 700km on a 40° day the cool room & jug of cold water in the fridge was really appreciated. No strong odours from cleaning products (recovering from a bad experience at Dubbo). Walking distance to Shepparton RSL. Parking area is a bit tight for large 4wd. Staff really helpful & if travelling that way again would definitely stay.
