On a family road trip. We were looking for somewhere interesting and memorable to stay. Kilmany Park was the perfect stop for us. An extraordinary old mansion with lots of history. The hosts were very welcoming and we were made to feel very at home wandering the grounds and hallways.
Beautiful old mansion less than 5 minutes drive from Sale. We chose the room with adjoining sitting room and it was well worth it. Silver service breakfast was like dining at the Windsor. Friendly, easy going owners and staff.
Our Car Club booked Kilmany Park dining room for Christmas in July. The whole of the public area had been decorated in the Christmas theme. We were able to wander through most of the building & admire the beautifully restored rooms throughout. After complimentary champagne, service during our excellent meal was certainly up to their high standard. This may well become an annual event for our Club. It was very gratifying to be told that the profit from our booking would go to cancer research.
Step back in time to this wonderful mansion of a bygone era. We had a midweek stay at this unique b&b. It really is quality and class all the way. The breakfast was amazing, we couldn't think of eating the cooked breakfast after eating all of the beautiful fresh buffet breakfast. It's a real treat!
Our second stay at Kilmany Park found us in an upstairs apartment in the main home. We were self catering but still were delighted to find makings for breakfast provided. Located on the outskirts of Sale, Kilmany Park is easily accessible and handy for any events in Sale or the perfect weekend away for city dwellers or tourists alike. The apartment has two bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen and beautiful bathroom. Access to the verandah is the icing on the cake for a superb spot to take in the view and enjoy a cup of tea out of some fine bone china tea cups. The gardens are superb with their little nooks to spend time, maybe lingering over a book or reading up on the grand history of this gem. I hope to return with more time to just enjoy the atmosphere and appreciate the history of this grand home. For those enjoying a B and B experience, the dining room is amazing. The sitting room is expansive and all areas combine modern comforts with furnishing that fit beautifully with the era and grandeur of this historic treasure. A fantastic experience.…
