The motel provided us with reasonable accommodation for an overnight stay when visiting relatives. The room was very big, but seemed underfurnished, and the bed wasn't very comfortable. The hanging space was too high for me to reach. There was free breakfast but it could have been improved; there was no bread for toast, and fruit drinks only were provided, not proper fruit juice. The parking arrangements were a bit odd, as you were not supposed to park on the grass, but there wasn't really any other way to park. On the up side, staff were friendly and it was very cheap.
We arrived without a booking and opted for a spa king suite for $135. It was a huge room with very comfortable kingsize bed, sofa and table and chairs. The spa was a proper corner spa, big enough to take two, not the usual oblong bath. My husband lost his glasses and after checking they were not at the motel, discovered they were at a nearby bakery . We didn’t discover the loss until we were half way to Melbourne. When we rang motel rang to say we had located them, the lovely manager offered to pick them up for us and help with the process of of getting them returned to us as going back for them was not an option. The only downside to this motel is that it is in need of some TLC in the way of minor maintenance and renovations as it is obviously an old motel. But the cheerful reception staff and comfort of the room more than made up for this.…
I was greeted by who I can only presume was the owner- she was thoroughly lovely and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Could probably do with some love bit at the price I cannot complain! I was impressed by the size of it too!
Thought it was good. Drove through and room out the back. Think it was on 1st floor. Was raining. Glad to get into room. Bathroom old & very dated and needs an upgrade. Everything very clean. Would come again.
We just had a quick overnight stop before heading back to Melbourne but we found our suite spacious and comfortable. The large mirror in the bathroom was appreciated by my partner and showers were hot. The breakfast boxes are back. It's just a short trip to the town.
Very easy too find and very quiet from the road. The beds were too soft and very low for my mum with her hips. The free breakfast was nice but no different choices of milk. Only one choice. Not like the food. Bathroom good and floor space. Also need more pillows
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL. There were hair left everywhere in the bath, spa and bed sheets. The carpet were full of dirt that my socks turned out to be browned. So I couldn’t walk in the room without my shoes. The chair, sofa, toilet seat, kitchenette and appliances were full of dust. There were little spiders under my pillow. It was so scary. There were cobwebs everywhere in the room. There were a big cobweb on the ceiling near the headboard of the bed. I was so disappointed with this hotel that I had to leave within 1 hour of stay because of the uncleaned room, dust allergies and spiders phobia. I have contacted the reception but they are closed after 7 pm. I have sent an email to the owner but THEY DID NOT BOTHER TO GET BACK TO ME.
A good place on the way out of town offering spacious and well-equipped rooms. A bit dated but great for the price. Place seemed booked out but quiet at night. Check in was quick and staff very friendly.
Last minute booking without my usual checking of every option in town and pleased that I found this place. Clean spacious with good beds. Friendly reception staff and happy to assist with any questions or dinner ideas. Will stay again next time also when in the area.
The Comfort Inn in Sale was perfect for what we wanted, the rooms are a bit older however they are huge!! which is a nice change to the modern hotels where you cant even open your suit cases. The rooms are kept extremely clean, it was comfortable and the staff were amazing!
