Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Reception asked for CC at check in to accommodate extras and damages. Immediately assuming that a guest will damage the room is grossly insulting and if we had not already paid, I would have walked out. The receptionist needs hospitality training!!! When we found the room, we realized that there was a second sliding door into the center of the facility. It already had a key in the lock, so the room was not secure and could easily have been left insecure if we had not accidentally discovered the key. There is no breakfast, despite the Wotif listing. The restaurant is only open some nights of the week and for a limited time in the evening, and the bar did not open as signed. So effectively there is no bar/lounge. The table in the room has a mismatched pair of chairs. Relatively cheap accommodation. The facilities and service do not excite. Its barely OK.

We only had one night here, but found it comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. Pillows were good, room clean and tidy. It had all the usual things expected or kettle, tea/coffee, hairdryer.
We didn’t eat here so cannot comment on the food.
Overall, a reasonable place to stay

Mildura is a very spaced out city and a walk to the shops is not too bad, rooms are okay and clean, bed very comfortable, air conditioning works well. Staff are very keen to help us. Meals that we had there were fine, breakfast as well. This is a great place to stay. Some terrific places to visit.

Nothing like the photos. Should be closed unless refurbished. Gym was closed. Bar b que area was disgusting. Room noisey and dirty. Receptionist below expectations, did not know anything about local spots to visit. Did not eat there as prices were too high, never saw anybody eating there. Ranch slider rattled in the wind. Walls paper thin, you could hear neighbours. Dirty toilet and floors. Cracked hand basin. TV no screening services

Very disappointed in this ‘resort’. Beds and bathrooms were clean and pool was clean and refreshing. The carpet in our room was really dirty. If you are in rooms 12-14 don’t expect good internet. We voiced our concern with the front deck and was told yes we know it doesn’t work good there. Asked about changing rooms, said they were full. The place was nowhere near full hardly anyone there. Restaurant food was very poor, basically frozen foods deep fried. A disappointing stay.

Dissapointing to say the least. Our room, located at the rear of the premises, had it's window/sliding door situated approx 2 metres from the tennis court. After checking in, we spent several hours putting up with the noise from a group tour congregated outside our window, taking turns playing tennis. Had to keep the curtains fully closed to get any privacy. Surprised to learn from front desk, that the restaurant wasn't open that night (Friday night?), so we decided to go into the city centre to get some dinner and escape the noise. Fortunately the congregation had gone upon our return to the room. Hoping to then get a good night's sleep, after being on the road all day, we were sadly kept awake all night by the neighbouring properties incessantly barking dog. No sleep all night by either myself or my partner, with the prospect of another long day on the road. It is 9am and the dog is still barking as I type this review. Never in my life have I had such an experience at a 4 star motel. Finally, we get out of bed this morning, draw the curtains, only to discover two people sitting directly outside our window, having a smoke, who turn to gaze into our room, giving us a strange look. The room was old but generally tidy, with some attempts at some modern decor and equipment, however the badly stained carpets, badly scuffed paintwork and depressing bathroom with a painted over cistern left a lot to be desired. Whilst I appreciate the setting probably wasn't conceived by the current owners and some of these issues are out of the control of management, unfortunately this was our experience. I would suggest though that some thought needs to go into addressing privacy and as a bare minimum, and an approach to your neighbour.

Stayed here a few years ago and it was great, lovely place, October 24 and new owners treat it like they are the only people to be here, very noisy, at check in I could hardly here the receptionist due to the owners and friends playing a very loud card game,
While this group of , at times 8, had a great time, the poor receptionist had to cover reception, the bar, meal orders and waitress duties. Really awful atmosphere,
The owners only interest was there own private fun
Horrible place avoid like the plague

While this room is older it was fairly nice. Only trouble would be the Cleanliness. There were marks on the sheets, mold in the shower, cobwebs in the toilet, a dirty spoon for coffees and someone’s scrunchie hair tie under the bed. And also no bowls for breakfast if needed?
Pretty disappointed

There is certainly a very loose use of the word “resort” at this property. Old rooms with much older bathrooms. Definitely in need of either an upgrade or bulldozer. Was booked by my employer and have already told them not to do it again. Be aware that reception is out the front with access from the road not the driveway.

Hi Fay, I would agree with Helen's response that the best way is to ring and ask what facilities they have. A good idea to check the room first as whilst not needing a room with disabled facilities was once given one in the Hunter Valley which I doubt would have been suitable. There is a lot of choice in Mildura so I'm sure you will have no problem finding something suitable. Hope you have a great time.

I have to agree with UKPeripatetic & feel very sorry for these guests as the rooms were not good enough to be classed as a QUALITY Resort. I believe it is false advertising to what we received. We spent first night in room 36 Superior King Room with no room to move & no bench space. TV was bolted to the writing desk & other such things needed improvement. We then moved next moring into room 30 to a Spa Queen Room which was no better. Upstairs above us was a family room with thumping all night until the kids went to bed then it started again in the morning. The design of the facilities in the rooms were dreadful. e.g. not enough power points, no fresh air only aircon on all night. Yes, the tennis court, the pools, the open garden, plenty of parking, the staff, the ambience of all is great but you are selling a good bed not so much the Resort facilities as such. Being a long weekend the breakfast ran out of bread so I understand a staff member had to run over to the United Petrol station opposite to get more bread and marmalade was also scarce. The yoghurt had ran out of supply. What next and you call this a QUALITY Hotel? Staff should be watching & replenishing when supplies become low. Some guests put up with these things when travelling & don't like to bring it to the attention of the staff but this is good feed back for the Owners and Management from someone who knows a good 3 to 5 star property. Lift your game and fix the rooms to more comfort. To be fair, the staff were excellent & couldn't do enough for us. Thankyou.
