Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very disappointed in this ‘resort’. Beds and bathrooms were clean and pool was clean and refreshing. The carpet in our room was really dirty. If you are in rooms 12-14 don’t expect good internet. We voiced our concern with the front deck and was told yes we know it doesn’t work good there. Asked about changing rooms, said they were full. The place was nowhere near full hardly anyone there. Restaurant food was very poor, basically frozen foods deep fried. A disappointing stay.

Larger than usual room with toaster, kettle and microwave. Two seater couch table and chairs in room. Lovely pool, unheated. Bit further from central Mildura but lots of nearby takeaway available. Would stay here again.

A great location, the room was basic, but clean and comfortable. There is a nice pool there and I would recommend a stay here to anybody who is interested. Most of the staff were also nice and attentive.

although this motel has seen better days, it is well priced and clean. maintenance has fallen behind which is a pity because with a bit more effort it would be a much better place to stay. The restaurant was excellent although with limited choices. The pool was much appreciated on our stay as the temp rose above 38. Book direct and negotiate. King deluxe room was good.

The staff at the Mildura Inlander resort had the chance to fix our problems - by moving us to a clean room (the place was not full) - but they didn’t. They had the chance to apologise or offer some sort of compensation the next morning when we asked them to please come and inspect the room before we left, but they didn’t. So they obviously don’t care. That’s a shame because our first night there, ten days earlier, was great. But this time we contended with a really long crack in the hand basin that had been there so long it was ingrained with black filth and very obvious ; mould on the lower tiles of the shower recess which resulted in neither of us being willing to use the shower; the toilet had unsightly and probably unhygienic black stains on the bottom and sides; the towel rail was almost detached from the wall (which housekeeping must have known about because they put towels onto it … somehow!); there was a really noisy exhaust fan,; no plug; and, to top it all off, a large ‘industrial strength’ pad bolt on the inside of the bathroom door for heaven-only-knows what reason. Also, when we arrived, the toilet paper roll had three sheets left. There was a replacement roll on the shelf but it was thoughtless and unnecessary to not have changed it. The bedside lamps were a hazard with the plug pushed into the end of the mattress as the flex was too short. The very glamorous-looking fridge kept turning on and off every ten minutes or so, which was noisy and annoying. We gave up in desperation at about 2 o’clock in the morning and turned it off completely. Apart from all that (!), the bed was comfy, the wifi worked and the room was well equipped. But, to add insult to injury, when we tried to ring the office to talk about the state of the bathroom in particular, we had to make the call on our own mobile. The reason? We were told that too many phones get ‘trashed or stolen’, so they’d been removed, but every single other motel we stayed at over our holiday had a functioning phone so I find that hard to believe. Our earlier stay had been great, which is why we decided to come back on the way home, but we won’t make that mistake again. They had every chance to fix it. Disappointing.

Refurbished rooms and very comfortable. Far enough off Deakin Avenue to have a quiet restful evening. Tennis court and pool available and gym. Good book in and friendly staff. Would stay here again without hesitation.

While this room is older it was fairly nice. Only trouble would be the Cleanliness. There were marks on the sheets, mold in the shower, cobwebs in the toilet, a dirty spoon for coffees and someone’s scrunchie hair tie under the bed. And also no bowls for breakfast if needed? Pretty disappointed

The word ‘resort’ in de hotelname has a different meaning to me. I would name it a motel with squeezed in a tennis field and a small swimming pool. The gym (one item for running only) was combined with lots of school tables. It looked to me more a business kind of hotel. And it needs a bit of painting as well to fresh up.
