Detailed Reviews
Nice park so much to do, staff very polite. We had a caravan ensuite site was a bit crowded but also a bit disappointed in it as it is like a triangle to get into but difficult as there are vans all around and small area. Ensuite could do with an update, but I did like the idea of the number coded boom gates. It was so nice the way all staff from front desk to grounds to cleaning all spoke to you and were all so lovely and polite. Received multiple texts informing you of what was happening, bands ect also to remind adults to be with children in pool area, just little things.

This is a great park. It absolutely ticked all the boxes for us as a family with younger, however something doesn't make me want to rebook for next year. I'll get to that.
The facilities are great for families. Kids get everything, Pool, water slide, bouncy pillow, TV /Activities room and an amazing big play gym inside a big shed.
The park has some great cabins. Most are refurnished ( or in process as I write this ) due to most of them being flood damaged last year. The cabins are A1.
But for caravans, you ideally need a smaller van and/or be a master of reversing. Most sites are rather technical to get back in to. A few down the back are regular easy peasy but those sites are a bit plain. The ensuite sites are set around 5 or so ensuites blocks and with , I think 4 sites around each one. Once you're in there it's fine. The area is mostly tree covered but there are a lot of sites in there so you have a lot of neighbours in quite close proximity. It's also pretty dusty if the wind kicks up.. or a bit muddy if wet.
The Murray river is only 100 metres away with some walking and bike paths. Mildura CBD is to far to walk but 5 mins in the car. Mildura has plenty and is easy to get about.
We rally like our 8 nights there but the detractor for me is the high density and tight spots.

We stopped here twice on our trip from Sydney to Adelaide and back.
We loved it! We had four adults and one child so stayed in the two bedroom superior cabin and it was home like with ducted aircon. The room was clean and new.
The grounds were great for kids, with great play facilities and even a heated pool!
Easy check in and check out.

On the outskirts of Mildura. Bit far to walk into town but is on the Murray river. Short walk down side of park to river. Unfortunately bottom part of park which holds most the cabins was flooded at one stage and is closed off to public. We got an ensuite site for caravan as told only one left. Cost $104 two nights, ensuite needs a lot of TLC as old, taps odd, paint peeling. Weirdly shaped spot for large vans. Groundsman very nice and friendly. Dogs allowed. Park facility has water slide and jumping pillow.

unfortunately kids always ruin some park experiences. yes it was end of school holidays but some adults didnt return their children on time back to school for what ever their reasons were. the pool was a nightmare kids out of control while their parents were drunk and sending their kids back to their rooms for more alcohol. that was a first for me seeing that and the parents had no shame telling their kids to get more cans. ground staff needed to take more control and tell drunk parents to leave with their kids so other adults didnt have the responsibility to save them from drowning. then there was the can scab who is known to the staff how ever he was so filthy and so were his kids he then went for a swim after going through all the bins. the park itself spotless and very well maintained. the female ground staff she was amazing and went out of her way to help when asked and always polite and friendly.

Arrived for check in and met the funny and very cheeky John. The reception girls asked him to grab my cabin key , I thanked him calling him sir. Well from that moment on I was ma’am and what a laugh we all had. Check in was easy and quick. John met me at my car and opens my door and assisted with my seatbelt. What a welcome to a park. Thank you John you are a great asset for this park.
Our cabin was very clean with everything we needed for our stay. Bed was comfy. Great grounds and facilities.
Would stay here again and would happily recommend this park to anyone from campers to cabin holidayers.

Have stayed here 2 years in a row for NYE in their ensuite cabins. There really isn’t many negatives at this park. The slides are amazing the pool is warm.. tho quite salty and harsh on my daughters skin, the kids room and ammenities are modern and tidy. The staff are FANTASTIC and make you feel right at home with their updated text messages throughout your stay. The little NYE disco they put on for kids with a food truck is great fun and the grounds are well maintained. The maintenance dude.. wow. What a legend he is. He is so passionate about what he does and it shows. The only thing I will say is that the en-suites could use some kind of bug repellant lol
We will be back for sure :)

We had been planning a family holidayand decided that NRMA riverside was the place. The kids loved the pool and the waterslides with the pool solar heated which was a big plus. We got a 3 bedroom cabin that had a fantastic view of the Murray River and was in a quiet location in the park. Only downsides were in the description of the room it said it had a BBQ on the verandah which unfortunately it didn't not a big deal as we had a BBQ near by but maybe something to look into and our holiday was cut short by the mildura lockdown. But the managers were very helpful with all the options that were available to us and we can not thank them enough for that. Would highly recommend for families

The staff were always friendly, the sites are pretty good but the pool and facilities are opened to the general public (for a fee) which on hot days meant that the pool was overcrowded and the compliance with COVID requirements remains unknown . The pool was murky and the pool area was poorly maintained, never swept etc.
Management need to decide if they want to operate a caravan park or a public pool and public kids games facility. I don't think that they can do both

We spent a few nights here, we found the ensuite sites quite small in area but were nice shaded areas. The pool area is great for kids with water slides etc. transport is required to get into main attractions we got a taxi $20 each way.
