This hotel is a winner! Ok outside doesn’t look that great but inside is fantastic. We stayed for 3 nights at a very reasonable rate for what we got. Huge bed, living area with sofa and spa and a large bathroom. Layout was very functional. The air con blew into the living area but still adequately cooled the sleeping area. The lift is heritage listed - yes, it’s old and noisy but better than none. Big pool with good number of lounges and open until 10.30pm. We weren’t bothered by any noise from either inside the hotel or from the traffic. We stayed early January so unfortunately the restaurant was closed but there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The free laundry was an added bonus after a week of being in smoke filled areas. Highly recommend.

We are a couple who stayed here for 3 nights, from 2-5 January.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is an old country hotel, with historic charm and also modern facilities. Our room (room 201) was spacious, with a separate lounge and a large bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the lounge had a sofa plus a table and two chairs, the room has an iron and ironing board, the wifi was good, the curtains effectively blocked out morning light, the drink sachets include hot chocolate (plus the usual tea and coffee). Morning papers were available at reception. All the reception staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel has a 10-15m rectangular swimming pool, big enough to do small laps 👍

There is plenty of car parking, some of which is undercover.

The hotel has an excellent location, 1-2 blocks from the main shopping centre, the cinema and the Working Man's Club (a good place for dinner).

The hotel is an enjoyable place to stay, and good value. We would happily stay there again.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and washing facilities. The downstairs area is quite dark and the staircase to upstairs bedrooms and bathroom is very steep and would not suit some people. Downstairs is the kitchen, laundry and living areas. .seem of the fittings are quite tired but bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are all very modern. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The on site restaurant is run independently to the motel but still honours the Accor Plus discount for dinner. We dined in the restaurant once and found the food to be excellent. The motel is centrally located to cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is also two blocks from the river. Overall a great place to stay. Only draw back is that the car park is small and always full. Parks are very tight to park in.

When arriving the manager remembered me from previous stays and upgraded me as being an Accor member i booked a spa room and was upgraded to a premium room. The service was excellent and room cleaned and close to town. I have no hesitation recommending anyone to this hotel. Well done Mildura Mercure im looking forward to my next stay. Please stay safe

This is a comfortable good quality hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room had a large shower with high pressure water and lots of hot water. The room was not well sound-proofed - I could hear the aircon operating in other rooms and was woken early by the sounds of showers and doors opening and closing. The hotel is in a very central and convenient location.

The website is misleading as there is no restaurant onsite not even for breakfast.
You can order dinner via menulog and they order and charge your room. No foxtel unless you have the foxtel go app and can use a chrome cast!
Requested a ground floor room with parking close by, got the ground floor room but parking is hit and miss!
Our room is actually a family one which means for two of us we have plenty of space and a kitchenette which would have been good to know so we could have come prepared with breakfast stuff.
Bathroom is okay, hot water slow to come in but water pressure is good. Towels are on the small side compared to other Accor motels. Don’t feel this is a true Accor motel.

Never stayed here before so thought I would give it a go.
In centre of Mildura, old fashioned basically, some newer motel style units at rear around carpark but booked out.
Main body is old, refurbished, no exterior light gets into my room, comfy, clean, reasonably sized, large bathroom and shower with good pressure.
Wifi would not work in my room but I dont really care about that so minor.
Old fashioned, miniature , anachronistic lift was entertaining.
Had undercover parking for my bike at rear of large carpark but had luggage rack to carry my gear to and from room.
Great service from lady at reception. Restaurant quite good with great service as well.
Will cheerfully stay here again.

We saw from other reviews that this was an older style place, with some reviewers suggesting it could use a revamp. Whilst facets of this facility are older, some are just downright heritage and gorgeous. The lift, for instance, is heritage listed and it’s a true experience to travel a floor in this double doored delight. And the stained glass windows up along the main stairway (and some historic pics) are worth a moment to enjoy.

Our welcome at reception, by Simone, was just warm and friendly and polite at the end of a long drive and she made it a joy to settle in to our room. We had booked “only” a standard room but it was spotlessly clean , the bed was extremely comfortable and there were plenty of supplies for a cuppa as we settled in. The location also is faultless and puts your right in the centre of the “action” of Mildura with an easy walk to shops, eating places and the river.

We absolutely loved our stay and would not hesitate to book here again (and hopefully for more than 2 nights so we get a real chance to enjoy the pool!).

The Mecure is excellently located close to restaurants, staff were polite and helpful.
The hotel restaurant wasn’t open for dinner, which wasn’t a problem given the choice within a short walk is extensive.
The 90’s fit out in the rooms is ‘a bit tired’ and could really do with an update despite being adequate from a comfort and amenities perspective.

We stayed at the hotel over the long Australia Day weekend. The room was spacious and lovely, staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming.Although there is not an Accor restaurant attached to the hotel, there are plenty of restaurants just walking distance from the hotel.
We have stayed at this hotel before and will come back. I will highly recommend the Mercure hotel in Mildura.

Yes there is a lift in the hotel section of the building near the front door. It is a very old lift, (in fact Heritage listed) and probably can only fit two adults and their suitcases at the one time. It is slow and rattles but very charming!

Hi Vanessa, Thank you for your question. The pool is solar heated but takes quite a few very warm days to heat the large body of water. September should be getting warmer but depending on how much sun we have had (or how game you are!) it is hard to say exactly how suitable it will be for you during that time of year.

Hi there, thank you for your enquiry. We do have a restaurant on site,The Grill House, however, it is completely seperately owned and operated from the hotel. Guests are able to have their dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and charge it back to their rooms should they wish to do so. A continental breakfast is $16.50 and they do have a cooked menu to choose from as well, with prices varying. We are really spoilt for food choices in town, so please feel free to ask our reception staff for suggestions if you would like.

Thank you for your enquiry. All our rooms are non smoking rooms, however, as Ann S mentioned, we do have two bedroom apartments which are on the ground level of the hotel so it would be easier access for a smoker to go in and out as need be. These apartments are double storey though, with both bedrooms being located upstairs. Please feel free to give the hotel a call if we can be of any more assistance. Maddison
