Booked with 3 other families for a 50th and after being assured we would all be on the same level booking weeks ago, 1 family the 50th Birthday Girls family was put on a different floor facing the back. My rating reflects the fact that you wrecked our weekend by not listening & spoilt the whole surprise for her that we organised & she was very upset as were we. It was her birthday & she got the worst room. Don’t say you will do something then not do it! Apart from that, the Accommodation was great, clean rooms, beautiful views of the pool. The pools were wonderful and the kids loved them although there needs to be more lighting in the outdoor pool area when it gets dark. Drinks delivered to the outdoor pool area was a bonus.

We were stuck out the back of the resort, the apartment is fine but not the view, we overlook ALDI car park, and everyone can see us through the large windows, also overlook people's back yards. When we queried it we were told that it was the best available at time of booking, even though we had booked exactly 2 months prior, reception staff were lovely at check-in and I even asked if the room had a nice view and was told "yes it has a lovely view" Never again 😪

We always stayed at a hotel/motel on our yearly visits to Lakes Entrance. But this time we could only get a vacancy at this resort. Wow much to our surprise, the price was on par for what we were paying for a one room hotel to a whole apartment with a view. When I rang the resort directly I asked for a room with a sea view. On arrival we were given a pool view on second level. After talking about my request with the receptionist, she then gave us 3 different rooms to view to which we could choose our favourite view. To get a good sea/lake view you firstly need to be level 3 upwards. We ended up with a view of both sea and lake. Lovely clean room and friendly staff, and a free alcoholic beverage every night of our stay. We also dined in at the restaurant and it was fresh and delicious .

We have stayed at the Esplanade previously and enjoyed it. This time we had a 2 room apartment and it was Very comfortable, clean and conveniently located. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner (weather wasn't so great so it was good to have enjoyable food close by!) We found the staff friendly and very helpful. It was a lovely 3 night getaway.
