Great location and amenities with friendly staff

Great rooms, nice quiet park, friendly staff, great location close to shops and easy walking distance to beach, parklands and jetty areas. Cabin was spacious with great amenities, clean and tidy on arrival

Not good

Terrible No hot water the next morni notified at check out, Was told probably too many showers 180 l capacity. But the thermostat was turned way down when I checked.no apologies nothing will not be staying again

It’s our first time travelling along our own coast in Australia while stopping off at places along the way. This park is like a 5 star park resort without the hassle of the big city life. Everything is perfect. The facilities, Kylie as the front end host, the bbq facilities, the pools, the games room, the laundry and the relaxed and quiet surrounds. It’s not on the Main Street opposite the beach and that’s fortunate as it’s so quiet and within walking distance from everything anyway. We had a 2 bedroom incredibly clean cabin that was perfect for our 3 night stay. Everything here is perfectly clean including all the gardens and lawn edges. You can even have a free VIP pass to the well equipped local gym and pools if you’re up for that. We loved Lakes Entrance and our stay at this Big4.…

Holiday from Perth

First time been to lakes entrance. We came for a relaxing holiday from Perth for 4 days. The park is spotless and the cabin was exactly what we needed. The staff were extremely helpful with guiding us places to see. I've been to quite a few parks around Australia and this is one of the best. Don't hesitate to stay here. Neil and Samantha

Great place to stay

We took some family from Japan to Lakes for a couple of days and decided to stay at this park to give them a real Aussie experience. We booked a few weeks ahead direct on the parks website, it was a easy thing to do. On arrival booking in was very easy. We had a two bedroom cabin, very comfortable and everything we needed was there.It was well maintained and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. This place must be busy during the holiday time , terrific for families, plenty of things for kids to do.good games room and pools etc

Great for familes

Great value family stay with great facilities, friend staff and a clean environment. Pool was great with the kids, cabins were clean and tidy and there were heaps of activities to keep the kids entertained while we relaxed over the weekend

Happy traveller ❤️

We enjoyed our 5 nights stay so much. The complex are clean and well maintained. Staff are helpful and friendly. Although our cottage a bit old but all are in working order. We celebrated Chinese New Year 🧧 and our daughter’s 11th birthday with cooking our own meals and eating in at the cottage. Well equipped kitchen 👍 Walking distance to the lake and the main beach that we enjoyed took a strolls to the beach and to the shops. We will definitely coming back, thank you for having us there ❤️

Had a restful stay

We were extremely satisfied with the facilities that were provided to us in the “Hibiscus cabin”. The complex was situated in a very convenient location not too far from the water front. Environment within the complex was safe, quiet, and ideal for an undisturbed holiday. We were well taken care at the reception by the lady in charge and supplied with many brochures and leaflets to plan our holiday. She explained all the facilities that were at our disposal, the attractions in the area, how to get to them and good restaurants we may enjoy. Her directions helped us immensely to plan our days activity and travel to places of interest. Cabin was well arranged with clean and cosy linen. We would have loved if a bottle of sanitizer too was made available in the cabin for guests use as that is another useful thing these days in a holiday cabin.…

Very disappointing

Stayed over Xmas with family booked 3 cabins five day stay we booked big 4 as we have travelled all over Australia and are very familiar with there reputation and excellent facilities unfortunately this big 4 is not one of them disappointed from the start very small park was given cabin last one at the back outside full of cobwebs inside was clean was staff was helpful when I accidentally locked my cabin key in the door day 3 out of 5 we needed toilet paper only to be told that the rolls that was in the cabin was complimentary after that we had to provide our own ?? $1200 for accomodation Four people one cabin do the math common sense never experience this in all the parks we stayed never once was it communicated to us to bring your own loo paper so we end up using the amenities but be aware there locked at 8:30 pm and open again at 8:30 am so daughter had to wait all hours of the night before they opened air cond remote wasint working didint bother to notify staff as it was Xmas day and was told to try not to bother staff during these times no kids activities there was some movies playing Boxing Day evening that’s it very minimal things for the kids to do other then the pool sauna was not working and you had to pay to use it but the icing on the cake was during our stay i caught conjunctivitis infection in the eye my GP said it was probelly from the towels or pillows mind you I always check the bedding before hand and looked clean but don’t let that deceive havint stopped itching since we got back home so make sure to check the beds you my sister was in the cabin next door to me with a four year old and six month old the four year old found a tablet on the floor as he thought it was a tictac my sister complained there wasint much kids activities and how dangerous it could of been he my nephew had swallowed the tablet only to be told sorry and was offered a free go cart hire that she declined would I did not complain as when my sister had already done so manager simply justified everything so there was no point really will not recommend this park to anyone…

We were sad to read your review janetsD389ONT and to learn that you were disappointed with your stay over the peak Christmas period. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and we were happy to note that you found our team to be helpful when you were accidentally locked out of your cabin. BIG4 parks are classified as Classic, Holiday or a Premier parks, we are in the ‘Holiday’ category. While we don’t have all the bells and whistles of some of the bigger parks we do offer accommodation for all budgets by a good range of facilities, we are sorry to learn that we did not meet with your expectations. It is standard industry practice for holiday accommodation to supply a starter pack of the basics, but not ongoing replacements and apologise for the inconvenience caused. We were sorry to learn that had conjunctivitis, however, all of our linen is professionally laundered and fresh and clean linen is used between each departure and arriving guest. Our team are always on hand to assist with any issues that may arise, the only exception to this is the one day of the year the office is closed, which is Christmas Day, however, there is always an emergency contact available.

Holiday stop over

We only stayed overnight. The cottage we stayed in was clean & roomy. We arrived late in the day and the receptionist was very helpful. We are planning on returning in the new year for a longer stay. We find this caravan park is in a great location, easy to walk to the boardwalk, shops and eating venues.
