We had a very warm welcome from our host Tracey, including a tour of the beautiful garden. The spa suite was immaculate, well designed, spacious and with all of the comforts one would expect from a 5* accommodation destination. Well positioned in Lakes Entrance, just a comfortable walk from the centre of town.

I would certainly advise others to consider elsewhere ahead of this place. Our 4 night stay turned sour following a couple of unacceptable episodes with the managers. We had one major issue which, other than to say relates to management practices, should remain undisclosed. Beyond that, though, we had other issues like appliances not working and a dismissive attitude from the manager. We ended up replacing batteries in the air conditioner remote control because the manager showed complete disinterest. It may be just a personal thing but I also dislike motel management making derogatory comments about the previous occupants of the room. Unprofessional in my view

The Coastal Waters Motor Inn is a gem. The on-site owners were great to deal with when l telephoned with a query, and were helpful but not obtrusive during our stay. We stayed in Room 5 (a triple - we didn't need the extra bed but it was the only room available when we booked). The room was spacious (even with the extra bed), had a small kitchenette and was spotless. The bathroom in this room had also been renovated to make it accessible (disabled friendly). Parking is available in front of your room. The gardens surrounding the motel were manicured, which made it a beautiful, tranquil setting. There was also a pool and BBQ area which we didn't use. While the motel is located on the Highway, (The Esplanade) we did not hear any traffic noise. The motel is situated at the end of the shopping area, but it is a pleasant walk to access anything that you need.

Great motel. We had a spa room ( which is hard to find down at lakes) the room was much bigger than we expected. Very well appointed, with a king bed, very nice linen. The Rooms were very clean, and nothing was worn. Bathroom was a again large with a separate toilet, and large corner spa. We ordered breakfast, this was yummie and not your average motel breakfast. They have a bbq area you can use and a pool. All in all we will be back. Lovely hosts and an excellent stay.

This a small motel (number of rooms), but super-clean and tidy. I checked in late, so didn't see all of the facilities, but was very happily surprised by the quality of the room I stayed in, it was very spacious and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to book this if I was looking to stay in the area. The front desk reception (lady) was very user-friendly. This place is a little gem.
