Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The powered sites are so small. Very hard to get your van in and having people passing through your site does get a bit annoying but there is no other way to get through. No cleaning sign up at the door and when my daughter was at the toilet a male cleaner just came in? Packed in like sardines!

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We have a range of powered sites, which accommodate vans of most sizes however, over Easter space is at a premium and whilst we try to accommodate guests as best we can but we admit it does get busy. Regarding the cleaning sign for amenities, please know that this will be addressed with our cleaning/maintenance staff.

Sites were very small and no room to back your van in as it was very busy. Had to get the guy to back it in. Probably would not go there in school holidays again. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite being busy the park was quiet. Except the last night there was a child throwing a tantrum in the middle of the night and yet you never heard any dogs barking. Overall the location was great walking distance to shops, cafes, pubs and beaches with so many walking trails to walk the dog.

Great park. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Amenities were really clean and good facilities including a games room, small outdoor pool and camp kitchen. Sites were small but overall, a great park in an excellent location - would highly recommend!

The park was totally booked when we stayed. Despite that the park was quiet and no one had loud music going except for one night on their last stay. Staff were friendly, amenities were always very clean, even had cleaning during midnight hours with a grassy area with a small cement section so there was no need for a mat underneath the awning. It’s dog friendly and all campers had their dogs controlled with no issues. I had two medium sized dogs with me. Thankful that other dogs weren’t on long leads ( eg 4m or longer) like I’ve experienced at other parks as that can cause issues when walking past with your dog. I’ve experienced that before at other camping sites and it’s not pleasant!! Plenty of walking area outside park for dogs at the Esplande but be aware some tended to leave their dogs unleashed and can cause some anxious moments. Short walk to shops and beach about 10-15 mins walk. The bridge is a great place to catch the sunset like we did one evening. The caravan sites were small and getting our 22.6 foot van in was a tight squeeze. A bit nerve racking at first passing cars that weren’t fully off the road inside the park but husband did a great job at maneuvering the van. The sites are tight when the park is full and does require experienced skills to get your van in. If it’s empty as it became on the Sunday before back to work and school on the Monday then access would be easier. This was our first stay here, overall it was a good stay at the park and we’d come back and could recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Tight spot to get your van in if the park is fully booked. You will need to be an experience...

The location of the park was sensational, site 32 wasn't best suited for our van which is 8.5 metres long including the draw bar. When making a booking we always give the size of our van. Well, once we removed a pole we were able to drive onto our site. Departing the next morning wasn't so easy, having to ask people opposite to move their car. Most sites don't accommodate for large vans. There are plenty of caravan parks in the town, do your homework before booking. Whilst the amenities were clean, they had half closed off.

Hi Maria, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. As mentioned to K.R's review below, we do have a range of powered sites, which accommodate vans of most sizes however, over Easter space is at a premium and whilst we try to accommodate guests as best we can but we admit it does get busy and the bigger sites which are limited book out early! We do apologise for any inconvenience caused regarding the amenities block. Despite these few things, we do hope that you enjoyed your stay with us :)

The park is very neat and clean . Facilities are great . Washing machines are a bit expensive though at $6 per machine load and the same for the dryers.
Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Good location, just across the road from grassed areas, walking tracks , main beach bridge walking track and the shopping centre. Was a little on the expensive side at $48 per night.

Great family atmosphere. The kids loved the jumping pillow and games room. The Australia Day celebrations with decorations and sausages were a great touch as well. Close walk to the shops and owners are friendly.

We had a 7m RV and as a first timer with this, the Managers were so helpful in guiding us in various ways. Walking distance to explore which was great with an RV and clean and tidy amenities. The games room is a bit tired but I’m sure the new mangers (5 weeks in) will no doubt bring this beautiful caravan back to its glory days.

We stayed for 3 nights. This is a small well located park with clean and well set out amenities, a nice atmosphere and friendly owners.

On a negative: We were shocked too see how little room there was to manoeuvre we had to ask a neighbour to move their car from their parking spot to have room to get in, lucky hubby is a truck driver & could do this once the car was moved & in one manoeuvre.
Overall this is a tidy basic park, well located near the Main Street and beach. . Other than the tight spaces (which may not be able to change) I feel it just needs a little jazzing up like the pool could have some modifications to make it more pretty.

We hadn't stayed here before so basically just chose it because it is a Big 4 and we are members of their club. We made our booking and weren't asked to pay a deposit because of current conditions and not knowing if restrictions may mean we can't leave home. We arrived and were greeted in a friendly manner. There was a caravan that followed us here all the way from Stratford which we thought was funny but all up there were only four caravans in the park. A lovely park and well maintained. We are not sure how all these parks will survive the Covid-19 restrictions.
