The location is great, walking distance to beach, wharf, Foodworks just cross the street, Funkey Moneky, Fish & Chips on Myer are less than 100 meters for walking. But other than the location, I shall say the room 6 which I checked in is poorly maintained and poorly equipped. All kitchenware need a thorough re-clean before it can be used, especially the pan (looked like haven't been cleaned for quite a while). Though, there's 1 living room, 2 bedrooms (1 have a queen bed, 1 have 2 singles) but there's only 1 fan, without air-con, you can imagine what if the temperature goes high enough. Also the most unliked feature of room 6 by my family is the bath/toilet room, it's too small, and the toilet sounds like have more than 3 decades old which can hardly flush efficiently. And the bathing area is so tidy that you can hardly move around (in my 8 year girl's word, she need to squeeze so as she can fit into the bathing area), and the shower head is kind of broken. Regard the bedding, the mattress is ok, also pillow/quits are all provided, but can hardly reach the comfy level. There's public BBQ which we used to anticipated, but after checked it onsite, we gave up our plan given it'll take hours to be cleaned before we can cook anything there. And BTW, should there's a neighbor brought with a crying baby, then you can hardly falling sleep in mid-night, cause every sound will pass through the thin wall board. So other than the location, nothing else can rated as good. So won't come back again.

I went with my family to lakes entrance holiday unit in dec 2013. THe price was higher due to high season. I was expecting bit better quality but i was disappointed by the room and beds quality.

It is a good location so you can walk to the main area. But the price I paid is lot more than quality I get

We are on a road trip taking in the beautiful coastline and all the delights this area has to offer. We chose this cottage because it is so central to the town's restaurants and shopping as well S the beach and extensive walking tracks.
Is it fancy? Absolutely not. It's so clean and spacious with everything we need. At $90 a night we have a very central bargain.
Very close to great cafes for breakfast etc, restaurants and supermarket for supplies this is great for overnight or longer stay.
Very good for older couples, no steps and well appointed kitchen for self catering. Certainly have not wasted money on style. Separate kitchen/ living area means those who wish to sleep in can.
Another big bonus is a washing machine which you won't get in your more attractive motel. These lovely cottages are well ahead in value for money.

The room we stayed had a worn out rug in the main room, which produced a horrible stench and only got worse with every passing day. The sofas in the living room had years of stains on them. The linen was also not fresh. The single bed creaked and our little one never slept well. We wouldn't recommend this property for a family stay.

If you are booking, please also ensure you intend to stay there since no flexibility will be offered for a cancellation. The manager tries to blame booking.com or any other website you may have used to book when a partial refund is requested, however when you drill deep it will become evident the management is greedy and inconsiderate.

On a plus note the location is fantastic and has some really good eateries.

5 stars plus for John.
He helped us out last minute after an extremely filthy, rude and disappointing experience at kick back cottages, left us with no accommodation. John offered us a room that was clean, tidy and extremely affordable on such short notice and it was pet friendly to top it off. Highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to coming back soon 👍👍👍👍👍

The establishment is in a great location, with a very short walk to the inlet, the main shops and the footbridge across to the beach. The management was friendly and upgraded us to a larger unit than we paid for. The place is dated but still has everything you'd need including a barbeque and laundry.

Lake Entrance is a great city by the coast, Victoria. The holiday units are furnished with quality chattels and units are very clean and tidy.

Units are well priced and available for longer stays too.

Units are almost 300 metres away on Myers St, and by supermarket chains stores. Would be happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.

Everything was dirty. The floors, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, all dirty. Was advertised with heating and cooling.... arrived to find only one pedastool fan, that's it. Bed sheets smelt, shower was tiny and water pressure was shocking. Really didn't enjoy our time here. Good thing we were out all day every day and only back for a shower and sleep. Security was questionable also as Windows didn't shut properly and parking was only just off of the street. Won't return again.
