We stayed in Salmon cottage for 5 nights. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had all amentities. The location of the cottages was very good quiet and tranquil although there were very few other guests. We did order the seafood platter and it was so disappointing we had to discard the seafood extender that comprised most of the platter....

Thank you for your review Vicki - I'm surprised you thought there were few other guests - quite busy all the time you were here, but the privacy provided by our large property does give that impression! I am sorry the seafood platter was disappointing - to be honest I did not personally see what was delivered from the Co-op...

We stayed here for two nights and wish it could have been longer. I also would have liked to take the cottage home to live in. They are in a fabulous spot with great views. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. There isn't a cooker but there's a hob and a convection microwave so all bases are...

Just outside the town, this accommodation is run by a very pleasant young man. Eager to help and cooks a "mean" breakfast. Great views greet you as you drive down a fairly steep track to the cottages, however if like us you meet a "herd" of kangaroos the drive is an added bonus. This accommodation delivers everything you need in...

This is a good review but it does not describe our cottages?!! We are not a B & B so do not provide cooked breakfast, our cottages are not down a steep track nor is it likely you will see kangaroos. I hope I am pleasant but definitely female and "young" is gilding the lily too!! We are near Lakes...

We had one of the cottages which was very well fitted out with everything that one could want, with one exception - the lack of adequate heating! We visited in Sept and the cottage was very cold overnight and in the morning. While there was an aircon unit blowing warm air in the main room, the heat didn't reach the...

I'm sorry you felt the cold - the split system is very efficient and usually is sufficient for the whole cottage. The cottages are fully insulated and curtains are blockout when drawn. We can make an additional heater available for the bedroom/bathroom if it is needed - we wished you had asked.

We booked the two bedroom, Bass Cottage for a catch up with our son and his partner. Check in was a breeze. The cottage was well appointed, very clean and had everything we required. The spa was lovely, the grounds beautiful and plenty of fire wood was provided. Would definitely return.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights during winter. It was lovely, the Cairstairs Cottage was very clean, neat and organised when we arrived! Our seafood platter was delicious and there were basic breakfast provisions provided, along with more than enough kitchen equipment to cook your own meals. The owners were very friendly and easy to get along with....

Sometimes it takes a while for me to sit down and respond to reviews as they come in but it is very much appreciated to receive them and to gauge our guests reactions to our cottages and facilities. Thank you Fiona.

Wow what a place. My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights during our Honeymoon. I could not fault the place. I loved that on arrival we had a lovely greeting note and instructions on how to get to our cottage. Being on Honeymoon I felt that was a really nice touch as you want to spend...

We traveled as 5 families with 3 kids and stayed 2 nights at No. 1, 2 and 5 cottage. Jan was very helpful to meet our requests such as cots and foldaway. Though it's a little cold to swim during Anzac season, we had a very good time at the spa. They lit the fire to keep the spa room...

I can still remember the children enjoying the space and collecting interesting leaves and seeds from the gardens. It is always nice when we can host a group of families enjoying a holiday together. Lakes Entrance, and the surrounding villages and waterways, is the ideal place for a family holiday so thank you for taking the time to review us...

On arrival there was no-one in reception just a note asking us to complete a form and that the key was in the door of cottage number three. “Salmon cottage is great for a couple.”

“Tips: bring your own milk, coffee, bread, butter, spray oil -for pans- and more toilet paper as they only provided two rolls for a family of 3 for our stay. There isn't an oven, so don't buy a roast, or anything else you need to use an oven for. But the rest of the kitchen (stovetop -electric- microwave, toaster and kettle is in perfect working order, and there is enough pots and pans and utensils for you to cook plenty of other things with). The heating/cooling system is great! Being winter, we used the heating and it heated the whole cottage fine. The beds have electric blankets on them and there are extra blankets in the cupboards.”
