Stayed here last week and booked on-line but did not complete the on-line check-in as I was not comfortable with the level of detail being requested on-line. Problem is if you don't provide all the information you do not get the SMS with your room number and code to the key safe. When we got to the motel it is unmanned and no-one answer the phone number on what used to be the reception door. We were lucky that another couple staying at the motel knew of the connection between Hybiscus and Saltwater and that they also ran the Bellevue next door and that did have a manned reception where we could complete the check-in.

I found this little gem when looking at other accommodation. The price is great for the 2 bedroom unit we scored. Great location to walk to dinner each night after a day of exploring in the car. Would happily stay here again. Only tip would be byo power board from home as there aren't enough PowerPoint's for everyone to charge their electronics at the same time

My advice is to check in here for no more than a night. The definition of self contained seems to be different everywhere we stay, with this on the cheaper side. Although tidy and close to the main strip there were a few let downs. - No oil, salt, pepper or dish brush to clean dirty cookware. - No laundry detergent to use the washing machine. - No doona covers, instead a doona between two sheets. - Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Considering you can buy them online for a dime I’d suggest a few glasses of wine or something to help you sleep on these concrete blocks.

Rooms were not clean, lounge was filthy. Outside courtyard was dirty. As far as self contained goes, this is correct. Expected clean rooms, only to find cobwebs, dust and dirty shower. On the plus, staff gave fresh towels after 5 days, it was raining so couldn’t wash the ones we had. Good location, close to main road. Room had reasonable access for wheelchair and shower chair

Very clean. Comfortable bed. Everything we needed in kitchen. Self check in. Across from lake. A walk into town not to far. Good location. Two great recliners you watch tv. Paint work was rough on interior of room had got paint all over blind. Bit noisy. Great pool area great price
