The motel is very comfortable and rooms spacious and clean. It is right in the centre of town so well located for everything. The cafe is excellent. We had breakfast there twice and one evening meal and all were high quality and great value for money We stayed two nights and my one criticism is the noise. The first night the man in the next room was on his mobile until 1.00 am and the noise came through the wall loud and clear. The second night a party was held in one of the upstairs rooms a distance from us. It descended into a loud domestic from 2.00 to 4.15 AM. Loud foul language and things thrown around. No sleep that night

I was amazed when I entered our large room. I was expecting the typical country motel, maybe a little shabby, but this most definitely wasn’t that sort of motel. It was clean, modern, very comfortable and warm, like it’s very friendly reception person. It was better than some places I’ve stayed in cities. Loved that the doona cover was properly placed over the doona and not just placed on top and the towels were wonderfully thick and felt luxurious. The staff were considerate and the bistro had fabulous food. The only minor downside was that we were at the front of the motel and could hear a couple of trucks passing through and in the morning we could hear music filtering through from somewhere. I’d I stayed again, I’d ask for a room further from the front. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.

Centrally located with friendly staff and heaps of parking but the room was pretty basic and noisy. Our room had a strange smell which was not nice. It could do with a bit of an update/upgrade and some better windows to help with sound proofing. The restaurant on site is great for breakfast, staff were great, food was yummy and reasonably priced.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn for 2 days on a northern Victoria holiday. The motel is centrally located, with off street parking, although this can be a bit tight at times. One thing to note is that as this is an older style motel, there is only stair access to the upper level. The motel has been refurbished, but at some point the bathrooms will need further renovation.
A couple of minor niggles. We had booked the Queen Bed, Executive Room with a park view, because it contained a sofa, as l hate having nowhere comfortable to sit in motel rooms. Unfortunately the room we were allocated (which did have great views over the park/aquatic centre) contained an additional single bed, rather than the sofa which was a bit disappointing. There was also no ventilation in the bathroom with led to a lot of condensation in the bathroom and the room itself. The huge picture windows did not open, however we did solve the condensation problem by using the air conditioner.
We ate in the attached restaurant which lovely, and the staff were most accommodating in finding us a table on a busy night (the motel seems to be used extensively for corporate clients). Even though the motel is located on a busy intersection we heard no road noise.

This stayed for one night at the Comfort Inn and we had an upstairs room overlooking the public swimming pool. The large window was great and provided a lovely view. There are no opening windows for fresh air but the air-conditioner/heater was very effective. Our room was quiet and even though on a main road/roundabout the room was very well insulated from traffic noise. Being upstairs also meant we did not notice car parking noise from other visitors late at night or early morning which often happens at other motels on the ground floor. There is a bistro for meals but due to arriving on a Sunday (also during COVID restrictions) it was not open. The motel does provide breakfast in rooms though which is handy. Beds were fairly comfortable with nice linen and a small renovated bathroom. Great location to walk to amenities including hotels for dinner if needed (we went to the Royal Hotel only 5 mins walk away). We would stay here again.

Just for one night on the way to coastal Victoria. This place was really good and everything we required. On a main street we overlooked the aquatics centre Room 18 at the end of the block upstairs. Good room, big enough a couple of round tables and dining chairs plus lounge chairs. Comfy bed. TV had free movies as well. We walked the100 mtrs to a pub for a quick drink and stayed for an excellent dinner at the Royal Hotel.

This old motel has had the rooms modernised and they are vey clean. Free WiFi and open air parking are provided.
There is a licensed cafe/ bistro on the ground floor that is very good.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
If anyone in your party has a mobility problem ask for a ground floor room as there isn't a lift.

The “no vacancy” sign was taken as a positive as we checked in on a Sunday afternoon, to break our journey on our way to Adelaide. We were allocated the room at the front of the motel, above the entrance and fronting Firebrace St. Double-glazed windows ensured that noise was no problem. Unfortunately, being Sunday evening, the bistro was closed, but staff were happy to recommend eating options. The unit was very clean, and offered all the amenities needed for a comfortable overnight stay. The only access to the upstairs unit was the stairs - not an issue for us, but maybe for others. The property does have downstairs units as well.

Catherine at reception was pleasant and obliging Rooms on the ground floor reasonable size, clean and comfortable . Fan in Shower an a/c were a bit noisy. Courtesy light in the bathroom was a great idea Good, Large TV with all channels. Tea and Coffee making facilities plus a toaster but no cutlery A well rated licensed bistro and cafe is located on the premises . The Bistro was fully booked but provided guests with room service meals from the Menu, which were excellent! Good spacious parking

Room was perfect. Extremely clean with comfortable beds. Electric blankets on the bed air conditioning. Toaster and kettle provided. Only issue was the shower - water pressure was not good and the temperature control varies from cold to warm. We had no idea about the pricing of the things provided in the minibar - no price list so perhaps it was free!! Restaurant was excellent- price was great and good food. Off the main road so will definitely stay again.
