Selected the winery as a B&B for a one night stay on the Bellarine Peninsula. This turned out to be an excellent choice staying in a very quirky, yet comfortable Marilyn room with great amenities only a short distance from the cafes and restaurants of Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads. In addition to the room we had an excellent dinner...

We dined here for dinner on a Saturday night whilst on holiday in Torquay with friends. The drive here was only 30 minutes or so. The restaurant has a quirky, eclectic style about it. On arrival the sun was still out so we sat in the lovely courtyard to have pre dinner drinks. We had the Pinot Noir, was delicious...

Oakdene is an amazing place to visit, much less stay there. The gardens are beautiful with fountains and quirky, but tasteful, sculptures and decorations. The building that houses the accommodations is a magnificent restaurant downstairs and the rooms are upstairs. We stayed in the Marilyn's room and it was very nice. After the restaurant closes, the overnight guests are the...

Thank you for your review of our accommodation at Oakdene. We are so glad you enjoyed the amazing art works and gardens we have on the property. We did previously provide continental breakfasts for our guests, but since opening a cafe that serves breakfast now let our guests have a hot cooked breakfast instead (for the same price). We are...

Beautiful surroundings, courtyard and inside tables at Mr Grubb's. Delicious and interesting options available to share or not if it was as good as mine. Friendly staff, will definitely be back. Good for kids as there is room to wander outside.

Well, we arrived at the vineyard at 3pm. There weren't any description about the vineyard upon checking in by a lady. However, we proceeded to our room n freshen up. Then, by 4pm we proceeded to the wine cellar, unfortunately it is closed. Apparently, it closes daily at 4pm. Such information should have been delivered to the guest upon checking...

We are so sorry you didn't get to do a wine tasting during your visit to Oakdene. The cellar door is open from 10am to 4pm and all of our opening hours are listed on our website, facebook page etc, but we will definately take your comments on board.

We stayed in the Marilyn Room after dining in the restaurant. Comfty bed, modern, lovely room, clean, quiet. Everything we needed. Continental breakfast left for us. The man who showed us to our room was lovely. Suggested we have a drink in the courtyard and as it was a sunny day, it was a great suggestion as it was tranquil....

A perfect special occasion place................we dined, shared a lovely anniversary with our original wedding party of 40 years ago then enjoyed our night in the Marilyn Room. Decorated beautifully - all mod cons - all needs met. Only disappointment was no cooked brekky! We are above a Restaurant! However, the gourmet continental breakfast was absolutely enjoyed instead. “The Oakdene Vineyards Guesthouse consists of three [3] rooms in total with each being of a unique theme & décor. My husband & I stayed in "The Attic Room" which had a great view, a lovely, colourful orange bathroom and was very comfortable. Our tip / suggestion is to go back again to see what each individual room has on offer! All three rooms will provide for three very different experiences we suspect due to their unique style and design. [When we can afford it that is !].”
