Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and paid a little extra to have a park/bay view.
The location was good: a couple of minutes walk to the Westfield complex (including large Coles supermarket) in one direction and, in the other direction, to Eastern Beach and the waterfront precinct. The Little Malop St dining precinct is also within an easy walk.
We couldn’t fault the apartment itself. The bed was comfortable and bathroom excellent: good size, great shower, plenty of hot water and nice towels. The apartment was quite spacious and had everything needed: a fullsize oven as well as a microwave, toaster, coffee machine, hotplates and a good sized refrigerator. Washing and drying machines were in the entrance lobby (in the case of the apartment we had, shared with neighbouring apartment). There was more than adequate storage space and although the furnishings were simple they were definitely adequate. The wi fi worked without a hitch.

A great place to stay in central Geelong. Handy to the waterfront and all its attractions. Friendly staff are very helpful. Parking is very secure but a bit tight , you just need to be careful. Facilities are well maintained with a range of options depending on the size of your family or friends.

This was the perfect 1 bedroom apartment for our stay - the fully appointed kitchen had everything we needed including an Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher ! The king size bed was really comfy, we asked for extra pillows and which were provided free and without a fuss! We had a full laundry just that we shared with one other room, which was fine. The location was great - Westfield, lots of great cafes, restaurants and bars all less than 10 minute walk.

It was my fifth time in 2024, my husband’s second time, and each time Vue Apartments staff have always treated us well. A 5/5 and 10/10 to rooms - the beds, self-contained 1 Bedroom Apartments and Aircon, are such a welcoming haven when returning from family events and work-related commitments. It’s nice to know we can lay our weary heads at our booked Vue Apartments accommodation, to rest, before heading home the next morning.
You will be in good hands with the lovely Erynne Hepburn who looks after us so well, every time! Thanks so much Erynne! You’re a gem!
When there’s been a hiccup (sometimes by me) Erynne, and the wonderful Korean receptionist, Yona Cho, quickly respond with an apology and honest answer. Pre-order and pay for “Extras”, Pale Ale 🍺 (6 Pack), Gourmet box of Cheeses, Crackers, Salami, Fruits, Dried Apricots, Chocolate Coated Pretzels, Pesto, that lasted us 3 days, and daily breakfast delivered to our room each day with choice to choose. We pre-paid our Orders before arrival and everything was in our room chilled in the big fridge. Our choice of daily Brekky was, Latte x2,
Emma & Tom Berry Juice x2
Toasted Chicken & Avocado focaccia x1
Ham & cheese Croissant x1.
All yummy, to high food handling standards, and made for an exceptional relaxing celebration of our 30 year wedding anniversary this week!
See you again very soon, Erynne & Yona, and Vue Apartments! Have a blessed Christmas holiday season, and our warm thanks!

We stayed in the Deluxe 2 Bedroom Apartment, which in their description states '861-sq-foot soundproofed room'. There is no way this room is soundproofed!!! All night on the Saturday night we were kept awake by cars and people yelling in the streets. Then Sunday night the car noise slowed, however early Monday morning we were woken with bin trucks and street sweepers. Our rate was $600 per night plus parking, for a one bathroom apartment that is very dated, tired and lacks the modern tech, ie small TV etc.
On the positive side the location is great

We stayed overnight for Deakin Uni graduation, 10 min walk to Costin Hall! Close to Waterside dining choices. Two bed apartment really comfortable and spacious for our family group. Parking was easy ($20 extra) and we were able to organise early access to our room.
Thankyou!

For the price, I expected better. The bed is a king, but it felt like sleeping in two singles because either side was sinking in a lot. We couldn’t roll over to hug each other without essentially rolling up and over the divider in the middle. The kitchenette was ok, but the tea towel was falling apart and the only sharp knife provided was dirty and rusting. It was also a serrated knife so useless for cutting anything apart from bread. The bathroom shower and floor definitely needed a clean. And they advertise the use of a washing machine and dryer in each apartment, but you actually share each with the neighbouring unit. Which is fine, but what they don’t advertise on the website is the fact that you’re only supposed to use the washer and dryer between 8am-8pm. We only arrived at 8pm and had 3 loads to do. Thankfully, we spoke with our neighbours and they didn’t mind. The washer and dryer is also in a cupboard with extremely inadequate ventilation, so the room looks like it’s sweating when you have either of them on. It was quite gross. Other than that, it was ok.

Excellent property.
Modern, fresh and very clean.
Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and living room with a separate covered outdoor patio. It had dryer and washing machine in the bathroom and was very spacious.
The location is central to all the main attractions - just up the road from big ferris wheel and East Beach.
Wifi worked well and the service from sister property was outstanding when I arrived outside of normal reception hours.
Would definitely recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay whilst in Geelong. It's a great home away from home.

The whole building is non smoking unless you get a balcony room. I just smoked outside of the hotel.
