We stayed here for 2 nights and annoyed our stay. We had an ocean view 2 bedroom which was great. Beds were very comfortable, balcony was great, bathroom was clean. Buffet breakfast was good and they had good coffee.
My only recommendation would be that because the restaurant is not open for dinner (only breakfast), they should offer dinner plates and cutlery in the rooms. Your only options are to go out for dinner or order takeaway. We ordered dinner delivered both nights but had to use our fingers and 2 teaspoons between us.
Very nice hotel at a nice location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Stayed in a Bayview room which has a nice view.
Rooms was clean but furniture a little dated. Having a walk-in shower as nice.
So room probably earns 4 stars.
I had the breakfast deal which was cooked breakfast with coffee and juice.
Coffee was a small Nespresso coffee and was half froth.
Poached eggs cooks perfectly so pretty good till I asked for another coffee. I was told I would be charged for this.
This is a pet peeve of mine. When you are charging over $30 for breakfast for inhouse guests, and serving coffee machine coffee, why penny pinch and say you only get 1 small coffee in the package?!?!?!! Ridiculous and not a good last memory for guests.
So -1 star for penny pinching on an otherwise good breakfast.

There was no toaster in the room.
The only hotel that we have ever stayed with none and we have stayed at very lot.
2 nights stay.
Understand no room service because of Covid-19 restrictions, so wash our own dishes but with no detergent supplied ?
Also one small bottle of bathroom products to last both of us for 2 nights ?
Very dirty fabric room chairs that make the room look dirty and not want to sit in them.
Only good experience was the view and location.
My wife and l have stayed at so many accommodations over the years and don't expect to much and understand what you get for star ratings but this experience was underwhelming.

Hi Neale, Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback. Unfortunately, our standard rooms do not have kitchen facilities or toasters. I would recommend our apartments which have full size kitchens and are much better suited for multiple night stays. Due to the current climate, our restaurant is currently only serving room service breakfast daily however we are excited to resume our restaurant services in the near future. We stayed4 nights recently.
Nice view above Corio bay and enjoyed the little balcony outside. But be aware the rear sliding door is 'self locking'.
A couple below us were yelling out as they were locked out on their balcony!
There was no room service due to 'Covid restrictions' and a bag of towels etc was provided daily as required. Thought 4 days without even a vacuum was pushing it a little! Also no toilet brush in bathroom.
Breakfast menu seemed very overpriced. $14 for a croissant. Really?
In general though room was nice and comfortable.

Location was great, but the room was a disappointment very tired decor,peeling paint , uncomfortable bed,bathroom small and basic,the water was very hot with minimal pressure.
Currently undergoing major renovations and half the hotel is a construction site! Limited parking.
We unfortunately lost our room key and the service fee for someone to let us into our room was 150!! For that price we should of stayed in our car for the night and received a replacement key the next morning.
Overall not an enjoyable stay.

Nice clean hotel and rooms. Friendly staff. Very pet friendly. Treats, bed, water and food bowls provided. Despite the hotel being on a main road it is very quiet with little noise. Which suited our dogs as they can be reactive to noises. Lovely view and nice scenic walks close by.

The central location suited my trip and while on the Esplanade, could not hear any traffic noise. The room had obviously been recently renovated to a high standard, was very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep and staff were welcoming and friendly.

We go back to this hotel a few times a year. We think it is the best value for money in the area. The rooms are always spotless and the beds are soft. You walk a cross the road and straight onto footpaths and into town or to restaurants. The staff are great.

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a birthday party in Geelong.
The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from Cunningham Pier along the bay and is easy to access if driving into Geelong. The hotel also offers free car parking.
The hotel is an old motel building with car parking in front of rooms. Despite the outward appearance the rooms are clean and modern.
The only negative was that the windows were not double-glazed so there was a bit of street noise at night.
Overall for the price and the location the hotel was good for the night's stay.

Mould all over bathroom ceiling. Wallpaper in main bedroom mouldy and peeling off the wall. Food still stuck to chopping board, microwave has never been cleaned. Rangehood covered in grease and dirt. Mini bar items were out of date. The entire suite had a musky mould smell to it. We informed reception and were told there’s nothing they can do but they will pass it on to housekeeping in the morning. Without a doubt worst hotel I have ever stayed in
