Detailed Reviews
All we needed for a night away as a family. Large kitchen and spacious living area. Easy to close of the bedrooms from the main living space once the kids were asleep so it was very quiet for them. Hosts were helpful and friendly!

We returned to these fab apartments after several months... This time we recommended to another two couples who were also suitably impressed. The apartments are such a great size and we used the ammenities well... Plenty of room in the lounge... 8 people enjoyed pre party drinks and nibbles prior to heading to our function. We were all cozy with terrific gas heating and beds were very comfy. With the terrific well equiped kitchen we all. Enjoyed a cooked brekky prior to departure. Great playground for kids and beautiful garden setting and the owners r delightful

We only stayed overnight but were impressed by cleanliness, size and facilities! The position of the facility was lovely and even though quite close to town, felt very secluded and away from hustle and bustle. Would love to come again in nicer weather.

I flew solo with 4 children for 4 days mini trip. The boys had a blast. There was a park and lake across the road, tennis courts, frisbee golf, bike riding and swimming pool to keep them entertained. Close to everything we will be back!

An awesome, spacious place to stay. Management extremely helpful and friendly. I was so impressed with the little touches. Tennis courts, pool, playground and grounds all extremely well maintained. Fully self contained units with everything that you could possibly need. Very clean, modern and comfortable. A home away from home.

Barwon Valley lodge is situated along the Barwon River, within close proximity to the Belmont shops and Geelong city centre. Beautiful walks along the river to town.
We had a 2 bedroom stand along apartment, they were very clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Excellent friendly, helpful service. Apartments had all the mod cons, washing machine, dryer and clothes line. The grounds are kept in excellent condition ie: The pool is beautiful and clean, tennis courts excellent. I highly recommend staying here. Fantastic value for money.

Roomy, clean and perfect location. Needed a place to stay for 2 study buddies doing exams which meant we could have our own room each and a large lounge-room and kitchen table to spread out the study books each night. Lovely and quiet unit at the back of the property. Added bonus of a lovely warm spa and pool to de-stress each night. Good sized kitchen to cook and handy having laundry and washing line for each unit. Very welcoming hosts. Loved the morning greeting from the resident ducks. Close to a great walking track for morning stretch. Will definitely be staying there again when back in Geelong.
