Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the bikes. We added the bikes and Kayaks this year, and both have been very popular. The disks for the Frisbee Golf which we have had for over a year now, are also popular. Next time you return, maybe you can give these a try. Recently had a group of 5 adults and 10 juniors for sporting trip stay at Barwon Valley lodge. Rooms were excellent - neat, clean and roomy. Great area - short trip to Geelong city, shops close by. Staff very friendly and accommodating and made us very welcome. Couldn`t ask for better accommodation and service. Keep up the good work guys!

Accommodation was, for the most part very good. Well catered for small children (especially the ducks). Great tennis court, swimming pool and spa. Greeting and farewell at reception was less than enthusiastic, a few smiles wouldn't have gone astray.

I cannot say enough about this place! I was wrapped from the minute I stepped in the door! I am usually one to pick apart any place and look for little fibs or mistruthes by a recommendation or review. But I cannot fault this place. The only thing wrong with this place was I didn't book long enough. Between the kayaking around the lake (kids loved this), the play ground, and the lovely ducks who showed up after every meal time, it was great. The rooms were tidy, modern and sleek. Beds were comforatable and clean. I will stay here anytime I venture to Geelong or anything adventure park way! Close to everything and the owners or managers are just kind, kind, kind! Family friendly but just an amazing stay!

Comfortable and lots of room for the family. Some items in the kitchen were not clean, however overall everything else was nice and clean. The pool was great and we had a lovely stay - great for families.

Very clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good kitchen facilities and clean BBQ :) Had a bit of an issue with small flys but that was my fault for leting the door open for too long. It's just 25 min drive from Torquay. Strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a very comfortable apartment, very clean and well set up for a long stay with a family. The owners Jan and Bill, were extremely helpful and obliging. The grounds are well kept and serene. There is plenty to do and plenty of room to do it in. The tennis courts were great.

This really is the best accommodation in Geelong, close to town, close to Belmont, and for kids, its perfect. Lots to do in the lodge grounds, and close to the river / parks. Clean, maintained lodges that are huge and comfortable. Nothing is ever a trouble for Jan and Bill, they have always been so lovely and welcoming.
