I needed somewhere close to the Epworth hospital in Geelong where my wife was receiving treatment. It’s an older motel but the room had everything that I needed, nice bed and nice pillows. I received breakfast delivered to my room which was really nice and the best thing, just a few minutes from the hospital and being on a quiet road made sleep easy. Many thanks.

Had a very pleasant stay at Aristocrat Waurnvale motel. Room although probably a bit dated in some peoples opinion, was in excellent condition and very comfortable for a short stay. Set in a quiet rural setting its hard to believe you are so close to Geelong. Cleanliness of room was above average and price was more than reasonable. Motel is easy enough to find and parking is good. Would certainly stay again.

We just stayed overnight to attend a procedure in Geelong. The greeting on arrival was great & the room was neat & tidy It may be covid-19 but the grounds are very untidy. My partner ordered breakfast & enjoyed it so another tick

This motel was well when we booked online. Unfortunately it as not the case on arrival. First impression. Lawns looked like a jungle which contributed to the overall unkempt appearance externally. The room was average but the shower was sooooo small one could not comfortably wash in it. The booking included continental breakfast which did not appear. The person booking me In didn’t mention how to access this and there was a pay menu in room but no included continental breakfast to be seen. I booked this room to be close to my spouse who was undergoing surgery in Waurn Ponds so wanted close proximity and reasonable rates.

The closure of the Colac road has affected the standard of this motel. Very Clean with fresh sheets and towels. Tea and coffee making facilities and the shower pressure is good. It just needs an update/refurb. I looked around the pool and the grass was 6 inches with weeds everywhere. Granted it was a wet windy weekend when we visited but it was an eyesore. Manager/owner polite, no smoking rooms.

My flight got delayed and being on the international borders, it was hard to contact the hotel to modify my lenght of stay. While leaving for the hotel a day later than the booked date, the management without confirming, took the whole payment from my account and even worse, cancelled my stay because of the no-show policy. Had nowhere to go but to freeze outside the airport the whole night. Such a loss takes a huge toll and shows how much care is taken for the international customers.

We stayed for two nights, on arrival we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are old style motel accommodation, clean and comfortable, they are serviced daily and have all the appliances needed. The motel is 5 minutes from a brand new major shopping complex and 10 minutes out of Geelong. I highly recommend staying at this motel.

My partner & I stayed 2 nights here, having booked via booking.com some months ago. The Motel seems quite an old one, & is out of town in the middle of nowhere. Although the room was clean as such, (although still not ready for us upon arrival at 2pm, which I found surprising considering they had a booking), I wasn't overly impressed. There were stains on the carpet & pool is situated right at the bathroom window, so all noise from there just travels into your room. If you're after just a room, small at that, which we were, then this will suffice, so I guess you could say that we got what we booked for. The place has no Wifi, which we were aware of, but considering the nightly rate charged, perhaps the owners need to look at providing it in future, considering the world we live in now. This next issue is a personal one only. Because we are quite private, we never require to have housekeeping done whilst we're not in our room, (partially when only staying 1 or 2 nights) so I wasn't impressed that our room was entered whilst we were out on the Saturday, & our bed was made, yet no fresh towels provided! Now, I should have told them that we didn't need housekeeping, but there was no "do not disturb" signs provided, so stupidly assumed that they didn't housekeep whilst you stayed there multiple days, & as such, had left all of our personal things lying around, so to come back & find that somebody had been in our room during our absence didn't impress me one bit, but then when I found that no fresh towels were provided during this "intrusion"/ housekeeping, I was livid! So our bed was made.. I don't need them coming in to make the bloody bed! The other issue was that when we arrived back after midnight on the Saturday night, there was barely enough room for us to park our car in our allotted space IN FRONT of our room. It seemed that there were more cars parked than rooms, (maybe somebody had visitors?) hence the lack of space for us. I did express my disappointment on all issues to the owner upon discharge, to which I got a half hearted "sorry about that", so needless to say, we won't be booking at this place again! All in all, very disappointing.
