room is tiny, contains a queen bed, 2 singles, a table and chairs and kitchen bench. also a TV on the wall with some foxtel channels.no shampoo or conditioner supplied, just Country life soap. room is for family (4 people) yet only has a 2 slice toaster, no plates to put toast on. has the usual jug (start button is very worn) 4 cups, tea, coffee, biscuits etc. small bar fridge with longlife milk. motel is best for couples or maybe with one small child, otherwise just too cramped. Wifi is available but has to be paid separately using a creditcard online. parking is tight if you have anything other than a small car. main issue is that the room is soooooooo dark, just a few small ceiling downlights. breakfast is available in the room but a little pricy.

Just stayed here overnight. Very basic room and old and was quite dark. Yet was very very clean. Bed was old yet comfortable for one night. Had all other usual things - such as tv (with some foxtel channels), kettle, fridge, tea & coffee and biscuits.
Lady at reception was lovely. Very friendly and helpful!
Breakfast is available which we ordered - which I would not order again . Steak was very tough and the scrambled eggs were dry. Next time would go into town if I was after a cooked breaky.
Yet overall a good little motel if you were passing through. I would stay here again... If your after just a clean basic room it does the job! And it helps having really nice people there.

Easy to get too room was cosy , furniture could use a update. Parking is awkward as it is tight on space so parked in side street. But over all for a place too sleep does the trick for the price.Would stay again.

Centrally located and reasonably-priced. Jenny and Brendon are the most welcoming of proprietors (and they cook a mean breakfast!) Rooms are spacious with a table to eat on or work at and a couch to lounge on. Water pressure in the shower is excellent. [and Jake the dog who wanders the compound on occasion is ADORABLE!].

Don't stay at this motel if your looking for something comfortable!
It was a cold night and the central heating did not work, nor did the electric blanket or bedside lamp or digital alarm clock.
Needed to close your eyes when in the bathroom or risk vomiting in the dreadful 80s decor.
I went to reception the morning after a nights stay to let them know about all the faults in the room and recieved no apology just a " the air conditioner in the kitchenette is reverse cycle you could have put that on" however when I went back to the room I couldnt find a remote control.
There was a telephone in the room however no link to reception and if you wanted to use the phone you had to go to reception to have it switched on.
The couch was tatty and the couch cover not much better but the bed was comfortable however the pillows not so.
My advice find somwhere else to spend the night.

I decided to hire a car and get away from the city for a couple nights. I drove from Fitzroy out to the 12 Apostles and onwards to Port Campbell. Unfortunately my want to do something spontaneous lead me all the way out there and finding out all the beautiful beach towns aling the way are all totally booked out! Not one room anywhere. So, back to Geelong I went. It was AFL final weekend (im a Kiwi, im new). Searching online I found there was one room left at the Kardinia Park Motel. I got in late, the office was still open and was greeted with lovely warm helpful and friendly service. I got a great rate with breakfast included and was shown to a huge room that was perfect. Clean, spacious, had everythig I was hoping for in a great location close to bars and restaurants all 5 mins walking distance. Geelong center just over a km away. A fantastic spot and ill be back one day for sure!

Family stopover for 1 night. Good value, onsite (off street) parking, great location, superb cooked breakfast the next morning (additional to the room rate), room was clean and functional and staff friendly and knowledgeable. Only downside is decor is very 70s. Would happily stay again.

This is a nice property with superb people running it. Very well located. The amenities are well appointed and it is across the street from the Geelong Cats stadium. Great parking. No effort too much for staff

It looks a bit outdated but it is spotlessly clean.
Good mattresses.
Car conveniently parked two meters away from the motelroom.
