We had our Army reunion at the Philadelphia Motel last weekend, once again the owners, Amanda & Harry couldn’t have done more to ensure everything was a great success. Being able to have our formal dinner in their onsite restaurant ensured that our ageing members could attend the dinner and return to their rooms in their own time and with ease. This place seems like a real gem. The rooms are large and well maintained for their age. They are getting on a bit and I suspect that refurbishment is not too far off but the most important things are well covered. The bed we had was exceptionally comfortable and the room was very clean. The bathroom is overdue to be refreshed but was very large and the shower was wonderful. There is a shortage of power points but to help with this there was a power board next to the bed with AC outlets plus USB-A and USB-C points.

We arrived with a tour group of 30 tiered hungry people. The rooms are so comfortable and clean. Meal delicious and served promptly. What really makes this motel stand above the rest is the manager’s Harry and Amanda. During the night my husband fell ill and we could not continue with our tour. Harry offered to drive me to the railway station to book tickets, AND dropping us there tomorrow. Amanda in her friendly efficient manner soon had our trip home sorted.We are very grateful and could not recommend them more highly.

Certainly has changed since Laurie and Ange moved on.No breakfasts available, in fact no food at all. Pool closed because it has not been cleaned. Grubby rooms. In all. Get a booking elsewhere. Laurie and Ange had a class act with this motel. They unfortunately have now moved on and the new management has absolutely no idea how to run a motel. All that and they have raised the tariff.

The owners went above and beyond to make our stay lovely. Cooked breaky and one for the dog, mac loved it. Nice clean rooms, mac loved it to. Close proximity for a lovely walk in the park for the dog. Excellent stay. Enjoy retired life guys.

Stayed here for two nights . The Queen room are a good size at the back off the main road with little or no road noise. The room had a queen Bed ,A/C Tea/coffee making facilities ,Fresh milk, long bench with plenty of space to put suitcases,Microwave,Toaster kettle, Cutlery and crockery, a lounge and two chairs. Bathroom had nice shower with screen door soap provided but no body wash. Parking was right out the front of the rooms a 5 minute drive to the Moama Bowling club for Dinner as the onsite restaurant has closed . Management and staff are super friendly would not hesitate to recommend this motel to others

A fantastic stay for the price point. Older style room but incredibly clean with everything you need. Awesome shower, bed and air con. We stayed due to the motel being pet friendly. Host are super friendly. The entire facility would certainly benefit from an update yet more than serves its purpose for the price point.

Absolutely amazing place to stay especially animal friendly motel, don’t see many around, this place is absolutely emaculate rooms are very very clean especially having pets in them, they are more cleaner then some other dodgy motels we have stayed at, the prices are very good also, as for the owners I cannot thank them enough absolutely 2 of the most lovely understanding hosts you could ever meet nothing was ever a drama if you had any questions so huge ty to Laurie and Ange we will be back again, hopefully for longer stay this time 10/10 rating from us

Going through the online search process while mobile, this was the only one that came up with room configuration we wanted in our price range. Couple of km from the center of town but that was neither here nor there, and other reviews seemed favourable. Due to being a long weekend and going through another Covid lockdown everything is out of whack with some facilities not present, but the lady on the front counter is a good sort and the sign advising discounts for cash was adhered to, with a very good rate ensuing. Apart from a carpet that may have been in the Ark, and an air-con from the middle-ages, the room was actually very clean with acres of hot water, firm but comfortable bed and the usual accoutrements, and suited us down to the ground. (The air-con actually worked very well and was quiet, and we didn't really watch the carpet.) So yes as a quick stopover or place to be based for a couple of days, it would work very well.…
