The River Boat Hotel is situated in High Street Echuca, one block from the old port precinct. This is a vibrant area hosting coffee shops , pubs, restaurants, bakeries and boutique shops. Walk to the Echuca Port, take a paddle steamer ride or sit on the banks of the Murray River. One block east you will find Hare Street, Echuca’s main town centre. A busy centre with a variety of shops, banks, cafes, newsagents and chemist. Everything close enough to walk within a few minutes of The River Boat Hotel!

In the middle of the action but far enough away for you to be able to relax. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Room was large and very clean. Pool is small but clean, unfortunately we had a room outside the Bar-B-Q and pool area, so it was a little noisy when people used the facilities.

We stayed for 1 night during the Moama Lights Festival. We paid $160.
Pros Great position, walking distance to all the touristy attractions, pubs and restaurants. We asked for a room upstairs and towards the rear of the motel so our room was quiet and we slept well.
Cons The rooms are very dated, furniture was chipped and the tap dripped badly. The biggest issue was that cleaning left a lot to be desired. The bathroom floor had lots of stray hairs and the shower tiles were mouldy. The vent over the entrance door was totally clogged with dirt.... yuck !
I know Echuca is expensive but we thought this little place was very overpriced.

very friendly staff, with great location Can walk to to everything , clean and great affordable price's too. also has a pool to cool off in which the kids loved.i will definitely be back. And yes would recommend this motel.

Very close the eateries and closer to the all night traffic noise. We stayed in room 2 and right outside is the smoking area where guests can drink and smoke and keep you awake at midnight and the smell of the smoke was terrible. The wooden floor in the room was very squeaky and noisy when walked. The bed was so uncomfortable The whole place is very old and needs pulling down. Would not stay here again

Stayed one night with my boyfriend for a low key getaway. Location was within walking distance to the Royal pub (great food) and from a delicious healthy smoothie & treat bar! The owner Grant was very friendly and hospitable. Great conversation! Close/ secure parking right outside the rooms. Rooms were clean and big and very good value! The spa was a highlight and the pool was great too! Pity we couldn’t stay longer!!

Spent one night here and wouldn’t recommend it. Stayed in Room 14 - bathroom was dirty and mouldy, aircon didn’t work, carpet was stained, bed headboard was stained, skirting boards dusty, freezer in fridge unusable. Outdoor stairs and walkways not maintained. Smoking areas directly outside hotel rooms. Whatever the age or stars of a hotel I still expect it to be clean. Can’t understand why this place has good reviews?

Walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets- just about everything you need. Comfortable bed and great sized room. Pool was a welcome relief too. Host, Grant, was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here recently, was excellent value for money. The rooms were clean and the whole place was freshly painted. We also enjoyed the pool which made a great night rather than just stay in the room. Definitely would stay again.

This motel had a great location. A very short walk to the river and the town. The staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Small swimming pool great for cooling down on a warm weekend and a nice bbq area which was always kept clean and tidy. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Cannot recommend this Motel highly enough. The staff are very professional and friendly and helpful. We stayed there for 5 nights and met some great people. The room itself was very clean and tidy. Bed was very comfy. Very central and within walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay there and will book again next time we are in Echuca.
