We come here every year for Midstate Mopar event and it’s great. Very clean, quiet and lovely owners. Beautiful updated bathroom, large rooms with great heating. Comfortable bed and well set out room. Thanks and See you next year!

From book in to check out we can not complain about anything. Very accomodating hosts, very quiet location but not far from anything. The room was very clean and tidy and this certainly made up for it not being ultramodern.
We stayed 4 nights over easter and after talking to others staying in bendigo at other spots it seemed we won out.
We will be back again. To the hosts / managers, thanks for your help also with our vehicles.

what a nice surprise is this motel, it is a swiss like design inside with high ceilings and oregan beams, it is clean, and quite a spacious room with a large QS bed which was nice and comfy, one disappointment was the pillows, they were not the best and not very comfortable and as is the norm in most motels these days there was no spare one in the cupboard. also the outdated analogue TV needs updating so as to extend the range of channels available eg: One HD, the shower was rather small for a man my size but had good water pressure. all in all a nice, spacious and economical ($95) room that has no street noise and is value for money

Staff were nice, the room was lovely and neat. Everything was clean and the place was only a hop step and large jump to the centre of town, great value. They were still doing reno's which we understood, but a nice off the main strip place. We would stay again if going to Bendigo.

This motel is a 3 star but I felt it was better than that. Whilst it is an older complex it is quite cute & immaculately clean & neat. Not sure about the other rooms but ours was very comfortable and looked like it had been recently refurbished. Some of the cupboards were obviously a few years old but the bathroom looked brand new and very modern. Another plus is that the motel is not on the main road so very quiet but still close to everything. If you like posh it's not for you, but for everyone else I would definitely recommend.

Motel appears dated from the outside, however room was large and clean. Big bathroom as well which looked brand new. Hot water was hot with good pressure. Reverse cycle a/c was useful for frosty July. Bed had an electric blanket too which was most appreciated. Check in and out was easy. Would definitely stay there again.

We booked Welcome Stranger at a good rate, only needing an overnight stay on our trip from Sydney to Warrnambool. We were very pleased with the room. It was quiet, very clean, very comfortable, and the decor (fairly recent renovation?) was lovely.
It's a bit away from the town centre, restaurants, hotels etc but the owner gave us a couple of dining choices to try and good directions to drive there.
We would definitely stay again.

Well established motel. Renovated rooms, modern bathroom, quality fittings.
The bed was a little firm (for me) but still comfortable.
The staff (owners) had a can-do attitude which made our two night stay more enjoyable.
The motel is located a few blocks off the Calder Highway plus the building is on a large block and set back from the road so it was nice and quiet.
We will be back next time we need to stay in Bendigo or environs.

Charlie and Karen (the proprietors) are extremely friendly and accomodating. Some rooms are being renovated and will be finished by January 2013.
The motel is a couple of blocks back from the highway and is VERY quiet. Beds were comfortable and a good nights sleep was had by all!
This was the second time I have staye dhere and I will stay again!

This accommodation is worth a stay, very reasonable rates, lots of parking and set a fair way back off the road so as a result nice and quiet. There is an outdoor pool on site. The rooms are spacious & modern, there is everything you would expect in a motel room and if you need anything the friendly staff would only be to happy to help. It’s situated at the Kangaroo Flat end of town.

Enjoy 😉☕️🇦🇺
