Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A group of six of us booked in for the long weekend and were not disappointed. Three were in one of the budget cabins which was perfect for what we needed. The unit was clean and comfortable, we could prepare our own meals and we had space. The other three of our group had booked a motorhome site and had a dog with them. They were very impressed with the facilities and there was space for the dog without any issues arising with other park pets. Our plans always involved being off site but we could see how a family could stay here and the kids would be easily entertained with the facilities - mini golf, pool, tennis courts, oversize chess, jumping pillow, carts etc. We were very happy with the whole environment and helpfulness of the staff. We had some small changes to our booking which were not a problem and our questions about the location of places were all answered quickly and with a smile. Being on the highway I was concerned about noise but heard nothing during the night. Yes, it is on the outskirts of Bendigo ... but any inconvenience is minor with a shopping complex close by for supplies. The economies of being here are considerable as you need to drive everywhere for the attractions of Bendigo area.

We stayed there in June with another couple.
Due to the current protocol we had an ensuite site, not something we usually use. Nice and clean.
Was quite due to Covid 19 restrictions,
had a look around the park and would stay here again.
Nice clean and well maintained park.
Pet friendly.

Staying in our own caravan this caravan park had it all. Large grassy sites, some with an ensuite. Amenities were extremely clean with many hand soap stations. Hand sanitiser was also available. For kids there were lots to do from the pool, movie nights, basketball/tennis court, jumping pillow and mini golf as well as hiring of peddle carts.
Camp kitchen was well stocked with a couple of sinks, two bbqs, fridge, toaster, kettle, oven and stove top. Everything you would need while camping. The camp kitchen also had many wooden tables and benches to sit at as well as a large TV to watch
Even though out of town a bit it was still close to shops

We booked into the Gold Nugget Caravan Park as we are members of Top Parks and we normally find all these parks are well looked after. This park was well looked after. We asked for a drive thru site as we didn't want to unhook and this was not a problem.
Nice lawned site, the camp kitchen was great and the swimming pool was awesome

Pulled up on a very hot (44C) windy dusty afternoon. Staff very friendly & helpful. On checking in other patrons had been waiting for a hotel courtesy bus 1/2 hr & owner went out of her way & offered to drive them. Fantastic park, great amenities, camp kitchen with all one needs, pool & plenty of activities for the kids. A very well kept, well run park. We were travelling thru otherwise could have spent much more time here. Thank you Golden Nugget.

When our normal holiday destination was taken away from us due to Covid we managed to find accommodation at this place with little notice so I was a little nervous. Nice park plenty of amenities and the staff are very accommodating. Negatives on their web site it has a toddler pool, it no longer exists and replaced with a sand pit and whilst it's advertised with a heated pool I can guarantee it's not heated. Nice place a little out of town no traffic noise and shops close by.

Held an event for our RV members in March over a weekend. This was from a previous event postponed due to Covid, they were more than happy to assist with this reschedule.

Large booking with 56 people and 26 sites. The park easily accommodated our larger RVs that attend which is important. Members had an amazing stay, especially loved the large function room which was perfect for our gatherings, meals, games and presentation.

Management we very helpful from beginning to end with this booking. We had a lot going on from deliveries, buses, catering to seminars and charity presentation.

They were more than accommodating for all our needs. We will certainly run future events at this park!

Booked for 5 nights and had to leave after one night due to a tragedy in the family. I asked if i could get a refund and was told when handing the key in by the male that he would tell the owner and they had our credit card details on file , afte we found out they re rented the unit and ignored us all together. So upsetting for them to profit over someone's misfortune is wrong, They would have not lost money by giving us our money back or at least give us 50% back, but instead they used it to make a profit. The utensils in the drawer had been used and thrown back without being cleaned they had been like that for weeks . The owners were extremely nasty to how they spoke to people and took money out of everyone's bank account without authorization at 10.30 in the morning before people had arrived. Never was asked if you are a member of the G'day rewards. People in our group had rang to extend their stay but was spoken to so nastily they didn't bother. Check your bank accounts ,they keep your credit card on file which is illegal. I hope no one ever has to go through what we have been through.. I wonder if you had lost $450 would you be feeling the same. These people do not deserve credit. No compassion. Very greedy

The manager Collin and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The showers were roomy, and the newly renovated amenities block was spotlessly clean. The park and grounds were well kept and quiet, and despite being close to the highway, we had no road noise. Laundry facilities were excellent and very affordable. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here last week. We were impressed with the spacious layout of the park and excellent amenities. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Covid protocols in place. Facilities catered for all age groups.
While we were there we had an incident involving our Motor Home. Due to the quick action of the staff the incident was quickly contained, preventing further damage and injury to anyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to supply us with a cabin. We highly recommend this park to all,
