Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a birthday lunch here but needed it to be late in the afternoon. Hilary was very obliging. The wine was lovely and the food very enjoyable. Best of all Hilary is a delightful hostess. We had a most enjoyable afternoon and would love to do it again. Wish I had taken photos.

Having wanted to go to a Bendigo winery for lunch we found directions here. At first we thought it was very quiet and we weren’t sure, however we had great fun meeting two other couples on the deck as we awaited our food. The food was outstanding. Don’t be in a rush - make sure you have the time to chill out and enjoy.

We decided to go to Lynnevale as it was convenient to home and in a nice area. While there were a few little hiccups, the food was very good, and enjoyable, and even the two younger children cleaned their plates!! Their wines are very good too, so look forward to going back for more tasting, and buying!!

My wife & I were in Bendigo for the Sheep & Wool Show. This is our second year in a row staying at Lynnevale with Hilary. We really like being a little out of Bendigo and Hilary's B&B is perfect. Hilary is so friendly and cooks the most sensational breakfast in the tasting room of the winery, overlooking the vineyard. We will be back again next year.

Stay for a couple of nights and was fortunate to have the Bed and Breakfast to ourselves. We were met by Hilary (our Hostess) on arrival and given a tour of the B&B and also a wine tasting and education at the Cellar Door. The accommodation was clean, fresh and linen was beautiful. Breakfast was home cooked and plenty of it as well of a good choice. It was a little chilly (beginning of May) so Hilary was there to light the fire each night to ensure our comfort. At the time of the visit the family had only just had a passing within the family, however, the dedication and services provided by Hilary was outstanding given this very sad time, she did not once not attend to our needs, which my husband and I appreciate immensely. Hilary you do a fantastic job and Lynnevale is a credit to you.

Having previously visited this winery before with memories of delicious food, I was very happy to return with friends for a quiet afternoon catch up. My memory served me well as the food was indeed delicious, along with the gorgeous views & lovely wait staff. Thank you for another wonderful visit!

Spectacular views of winery and garden from inside or out. Hilary is warm and friendly and a great cook. Lunches are delicious and can also recommend the platters. Wine is good too. Treat yourself to an afternoon off. Great accomodation on site too.

Had organised a wine tour with a friend via Hilary from LynneVale. Part of this was a tasting and lunch at the Estate. (The wine tour was amazing I highly recommend). Arrived at the winery at about 1.30. Hilary was lovely, very welcoming and started us on the tastings of the wines. She was able to share lots of information about what we were tasting and it was all a wonderful experince. She is such a friendly nice person. We setttled in on the balcony (gorgeous views!) and had the grazing plate to start. Our tour included a two course lunch. The plate had cheese, beetroot dip, biscuits, bread, salami, chicken, anti pasto with tomato, olives, mushies etc. It was very tasty and just what we needed after a morning of tastings! We also had a glass of wine with the meal. I had the sparkling white which was very nice. Easy to drink. For mains I ordered the lamb shank which came with mashed potato and vegies which were very tasty. Beans and carrots hit the spot. My friend had the chicken meal which also looked very nice. She was happy with her choice too. It was so lovely just sitting out on the balcony enjoying great food, wines and company. I would highly recommend this place as the people were lovely and made us feel very welcome.

Our two night stay at the LynneVale Estate Winery was the perfect relaxing getaway. Our room looked out over the vines and opened on to a verandah and garden area that was perfect for kicking back with a few drinks at the end of the day. The owners Hilary and Glenn are extremely laid back and very accommodating. Hilary cooked us breakfast both mornings that included eggs from their own chickens. We had lunch on the estate on the second day and we were both very impressed with our selections. The estate is only a 10-15 minute drive from Bendigo and is surrounded by historic sites. We will definitely be staying at LynneVale Estate again.

Booked for lunch on the way to Bendigo. Lovely experience. Very well prepared and tasty food and excellent wines. The host/owner made us feel very welcomed and had a lovely presentation of their wines which we liked very much, enjoyed a white with our lunch and bought some to have later at home. They also offer accommodation if you want to stay over night.
