Brougham Arms Hotel is located at 150 Williamson Street, Bendigo, just a short walk from Bendigo CBD and train station. Offering three distinctive dining areas, the restaurant and tapas courtyard, along with a public bar. The restaurant, recently recognized as having the best food and service in the state offers an a la carte menu that changes seasonally. Our pub fare reigns in the public bar. The tapas courtyard presents our acclaimed tapas menu using all fresh local produce. We also cater for private events, either exclusively in the tapas courtyard for up to 50 guests or in our restaurant. Our courtesy bus can be booked to collect and drop you off to ensure that everyone has a chance to enjoy a wine or two from our extensive wine list. Better still, why not book a room in our recently renovated boutique motel rooms. Open from 11am 7 Days a Week. Reservations are taken for lunch and dinner in our restaurant. We strongly recommend to call and book to avoid disappointment.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Clean, recently redecorated, good sized and good value. This small hotel/motel was tidy and nicely decorated. Reasonably priced. Was able to park outside our rooms. Wifi signal was very weak but so was our own phone signal. Nice linen, a couch, TV and spacious for a motel. Very adequate for a one or two night stay.

Great find and it was very convenient to travel into Bendigo Central. 3 minutes without traffic. Room was clean and though it's the basic motel, I love the extra effort in art decor placed in the room. There was even a microwave oven where many wouldn't have offered. Bed was comfortable, not luxurious. Good value for money to stay. Brick walls keep out any noise from neighbouring rooms. We loved being able to walk out to the restaurant on the property. I wouldn't say it's ideal for families with young children. Great stay for one night for a day out in Bendigo.

Felt i had to do this review just to say thank you to the people at Brougham Arms. The review is based on the quality of a Motel establishment.

We had about 15 guys head up to Bendigo for a bucks night and most hotel/motel's were very hesitant in offering anything. Right off the bat the manager/owner took us in and actually looked forward to having us.

Location is perfect. Literally a 10 minute walk into the main bars, restaurants and general entertainment hub of Bendigo.

Even better than that the Brougham Arm's is also a sports bar/pub that where you can have a meal in either their bar or restaurant.

The rooms are basic but very well kept. Bed's are comfortable, the shower is a definate winner and every room comes with air conditioning that cools the room in minutes, which was very helpful on hot days.

Everyone that worked there was friendly and very accommodating. We were allowed to check out late and as long as you do not go over the top and take the mickey out of how lenient they are then you will have a fantastic time.

Went for a meal with family and towards the end of evening a concern arose over toilets blocked and not functioning - my grand child in toilet caught in the midst of the incident and another toilet user had to find his mother to go to male toilet to assist him. Staff seemed unconcerned and carried on as if there wasn't an issue. Not happy will not recommend this Hotel to anyone

Stayed in Suite No 1. - lovely large suite - sitting area, eating area, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. Sitting and eating areas are air-conditioned and bedrooms have ceiling fans. Decoration is first class. In summary - amazingly good value when you consider it can sleep 4 or 5 people.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is located just out of town but an easy and nice walk to the main strip. The room was clean and much bigger than anticipated. It was very quiet at night which was lovely. The reception staff were friendly when checking in - couldn't fault anything and will stay here again.

Friendly and efficient staff. We had the Nash Goreng after reading others reviews and were not disappointed.
The prawns were delicious and the fresh herbs topped off the dish beautifully.
I booked a table on line - so easy

I had this pub recommended to me, so when friends came to visit, I thought let's try it. We arrived, were seated and drink orders were completed. We ordered, several different items, but most was pretty average. The Parma and calamari, in particular, just average. Good chips, good fish special, and nice cold beer. Service was excellent, polite, attentive and helpful. Th food component was the disappointment. Nice atmosphere too.

booked here for a conference so wasn't really expecting too much but I was pleasantly surprised..
this place is sight my out of the centre of town but I walked into town in less than 20mins - including meandering along and checking out shops.... the road (Williamson) alongside is quite busy but if you're from a large town you'd expect that anyway, and there is always the noise of people coming and going as with any motel/hotel with transient stayers so this doesn't bother me too much.
the rooms I had was initially the 2 bedroom "apartment" and then moved to a smaller room for the remainder of my stay. both have been recently renovated and you can tell.
firstly the 2 bedroom - large sitting area with a very comfy couch with overstuffed pillows, large table to seat comfortably 6 people... kitchen basic but well set out. both bedrooms were generous and the beds firm and comfortable with doonas (yay) that were extremely warm... bathroom had a rainfall shower head and was modern and clean.
the smaller room also boasted doonas and I didn't even need the split system heater as I was toasty the whole night, again the bed was extremely comfortable... had a little couch/fold out bed? and a large bench covering one wall hiding a bar fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery etc and microwave ... great reclaimed wood look.... bathroom spacious and we'll set out but my only gripe would be poor lighting especially for applying make up!!!
All staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.
the only odd thing was the reception was in the middle of the bar....
great stay and would definitely stay here again.

The pub has a good restaurant but dearish and hard to just get a basic steak or roast there. Reception is being rebuilt so have to check in at the bar. The air conditioner/heater needed cleaning - it was dirty, noisy & intermittent. Only bath towels & shower mat provided, no hand towels; only soap, no other toiletries. Overall not great value for money.
