The room is quite large. The bed is comfortable and the shower is hot. It is a traditional motel with limited facilities; however, there is an indoor pool which we did not try. The distance from the center of town is about 4 kilometres. I can highly recommended this hotel.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights while we attended the Red hot summer Tour concert. Upon check in the staff member was lovely and directed us to our room . The room is easily accessible with a car park at the front of room. The room accommodated our family of 4 perfectly with 2 double beds, bathroom and area to relax. The only downfall was no microwave in room.Tea and coffee making facilities and roster were available. We were disappointed that the on-site resturant was closed while we were there but this allowed us to explore other food options in Bendigo. The pool and bbq area were adequate and a spa and sauna is also in the area all indoors. Everyone working for the hotel were very friendly. Great place to stay.

Stayed 2 nights, rooms very clean including bathroom, Rooms are large. Friendly staff. Pool is excellent(water a little cold). Parking is straight outside rooms Deff one of the better hotels in the chain. Would 100% stay again.

If I could give the Quality Inn Colonial, Bendigo zero stars I would.
The place is old I can forgive that. I cannot forgive filthy. I changed rooms after a late check in to my first room. I was charged a cleaning fee of $30. These are photos of the second room on check in. Pictures speak a thousand words. I advised the concierge member at the front desk of the condition of the room and was replied to with “I will let the manager know” nothing was done or offered to resolve the condition of the room. Currently no sauna. Everything a bit too much trouble. Making excuses as to why we have not got basics. Have a tea towel with no Cutlery or plates. Oh it's covid. Your hotel is fully open so wear mask and gloves so do a proper room service. At moment having to ask at reception for basics

Spacious room, friendly staff provided plates, Cutlery, etc upon request. The pool and spa were both too cold to use even after the heating was turned up. The sauna and toilet in the pool area were out of order. The bathroom was freezing cold due to the window design. Housekeeping is limited to refilling items and emptying bins. This could become a great place to stay with some changes.

Hi Thank you for your review. We are sorry pool and spa temperature was too cold for you. It was set at 29 degrees when your partner asked for it to be adjusted. When he checked out i asked him if it was warmer and he replied it was so much warmer and thanked me for adjusting it. The spa temperature is set at 36 degrees. I'm sorry it wasn't warm enough. This motel was rundown. The photos do not reflect its poor state of disrepair. This neglect is a shame as it would have been a lovely motel once. The pool was dirty and the flower beds dead. The rooms were out of date and not the cleanest. The best thing was the receptionist who was very warm and friendly. Also no restaurant as seen in photos and definitely no wellness centre.

Pleasantly surprised at how good this motel was. On the map it looked quite some way from the city centre, but taking the 'back' road it was quite close. The room was clean and well presented with good facilities. We would stay again when we next visit Bendigo.

i have stayed at this motel previously and have written a glowing review however i take it all back as now new owners have taken over and the service is limited last time we stayed we had paid for the full buffet bfast however did not use it and the owner made a note the next time we stayed the bfast was to be complimentry however the new owner said bad luck im the new owner and no bfast. we also attempted to use the heated pool well its not heated i will never stay again and rebuke my previous comments mark

This was our third stay in Bendigo and this motel rates as the best we have stayed in for overnight stops. The room was huge with squeaky clean amenities, comfortable beds, a great TV, good free wi fi and the hottest of water in the shower.
We chose to have an extra bed for comfort's sake as king beds are rare in Oz. The decore is a mixture of on trend hotel bedding and wall art with the time warp bathroom in what can be described as 80's Caroma. What's important though is the overall comfort and cleanliness of the room.
There is a good layout with the vanity being external to the bathroom and a handy a beverage area. Two comfy chairs with a small bench table is handy for in room meals. The wall TV had a good selection of channels and the wi fi worked well.
Although situated on a main highway, there was minimal noise heard in the distance. The buildings are set back a little and if you want to make sure ask for a room towards the rear. We heard nothing the whole night in our rear room and it was very peaceful.
This is an delightful place to stay with reasonable rates even at the weekend. We will be back to stay again when next in Bendigo.
