Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is beautifully clean, well maintained. Rooms are well appointed and tidy. Staff were very friendly and every request was met with a smile. Location is great over the road from Lake Weeroona and a short drive to town. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation and location. The rooms are so well done - roomy and fantastic finishes. Bathroom is enormous (we had a king room). Loved the layout with sliding doors opening onto the central garden and pool area.

Clean, fresh accomodation and facilities. Comfortable bed, huge bathroom. Nice courtyard in centre of building with garden and pool. Accomodating when we asked for earlier check in. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

It would be hard to find a more pleasant motel. The king size room was large and beautifully appointed. The bed was v comfortable. The glass door at the back of the room overlooks a central courtyard and delightful swimming pool. The breakfast room was lovely and the staff couldn’t be faulted. Very well priced for the luxurious rooms. If I had just one complaint it would be that there needs to be heating in the bathroom. It was really cold when we stayed and a heater would have made the wonderful bathroom cosy.

One of the main things for us when travelling is the whole experience of staying somewhere. With the Julie-Anna, all of the staff were welcoming and accommodating. The Inn is located directly across from Lake Weeroona, which made for an easy, scenic morning walk - our daughter loved all the ducklings around the lake. We stayed in a family room which was large, clean and comfortable and had a bath, which was a big plus for me. There was an on-site laundry which guests could use, with laundry powder able to be purchased from reception. There is an on-site restaurant and bar which was very convenient. We were initially concerned as it is situated on a fairly busy road, but it was very quiet (our room was at the back). Would definitely recommend it.

I stayed here longer because of an internship, which was the best experience. Let's start with the room. I stayed in the king room and the room was surprisingly big. There was a huge bed, a sofa with a table, two chairs, and a desk. There was also a flat-screen TV, with the option for Netflix or Youtube. In the hallway was a little fridge and clothing store space. The bathroom had a very large mirror, two sinks, a toilet, and a shower. With the service every morning you can get new towels/shampoo etc. 7 days a week you can get breakfast at the motel. You can choose what you want from the menu. Dinner is four times a week, from Monday till Thursday. They have a good menu with a lot of choice, so there is something for everyone. The staff is really friendly. I stayed here for a couple of weeks and it felt like family. They do everything for you, to make it comfortable. The motel is near Lake Weeroona, where you can go for a walk. It is a small lake and is also perfect for families with little kids. When you want to walk to the city center it is like a 20-minute walk. And going to the train station is a 30-minute walk. You can also use public transport because there is a bus stop in front of the motel. The motel is perfectly located. I would definitely recommend this motel for a stay. If you want a good quality and friendly staff.

Checked into the hotel for a restful sleep whilst travelling through town. Was not disappointed: very clean room; very comfortable bed; very quiet. Will definitely come back again with family. Check in and check out were a breeze. I had no reservation or booking and was able to get a room and glad I did. The bathroom is the cleanest hotel bathroom I have seen in years, a credit to the Julie-Anna’s cleaning staff. Highly recommended.

Very well run establishment! Warm welcome at reception, excellent assistance and advice with dinner options as their restaurant was not open of FRI. Comfortable and spotlessly clean room overlooking beautiful garden, with parking right at the door. Excellent cooked breakfast delivered to our room. 5-min drive to dining and downtown. All-in-all an excellent stay at a well run establishment.
