Bendigo Cottages are old miner's cottages which have been charmingly refurbished. Surrounded by extensive gardens the cottages have barbeques on the verandah, quality linen, a couch, television and a small but well stocked kitchen. There's also a bathroom off the kitchen. Diane the hostess is very attentive and provides a choice of breakfasts which are delivered to your cottage in the morning at your preferred time.

Our 6th visit to Bendigo Cottages. It's just like coming home. So comfortable and cosy and the gardens are magnificent. Breakfast made by Diane is the icing on the cake. So clean, comfortable beds and great showers. We'll be back. Thanks Diane.

We spent two nights in Hyacinth Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. The cottage was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean.

Dianne as host was extremely welcoming and our two morning breakfasts (one cooked - one continental) were perfect and we were able to sit out in the beautiful garden to enjoy them each morning.

Would highly recommend Bendigo Cottages to all travelers.

Stayed for 2 nights at the start of a Vic road trip but honestly could have stayed a week. Peaceful and comfy and great provisions (especially the tea!). We stayed in Robins Nest and even though the weather was chilly, we enjoyed a cup of tea on the veranda and read for ages. The garden is so pretty. Private and relaxing despite its great location close to town. Breakfast was beautiful and we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were comfy and warm - sofa was so comfy. The bed was great - both had fantastic nights sleep. Was immaculately clean and just so welcoming. Highly recommend and hope to be back again from SA.

We spent 3 days in Bendigo at the Bendigo Cottages. What a beautiful setting. Our cottage( Hyacinth) was set in a beautiful garden with little places to sit in the sun and just listen to the birds.
Our Hostess was very welcoming & pleasant.
Breakfast was delivered to our cottage and was very enjoyable. Choice of cooked or Continental breakfast.
Beds were comfortable and cottage very cosy.
Will definitely visit again.

I recently stayed in the lovely Rose Cottage. It was very clean and well appointed. The cottages are surrounded by lovely gardens and it is located in very peaceful and quite area of Bendigo. It is also very close to the CBD, Art Gallery, cafe and restaurants. The new owners Sue and Tony were very accommodating and the cooked breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay there again. We stayed in Rose cottage. It was very clean, and very comfortable. There's plenty of stuff - different kinds of teas/coffees/biscuits/magazines. Dawn cheerfully provided a couple of extra breakfasts for our friends who were camping.

We'd originally planned to go to Bendigo by train, but it would have been a fair hike from the station, and an uphill walk back from dinner. There's off-street parking, and the cottages are in a quiet residential area.

We stayed in' Robin's Nest' and really enjoyed the ambience and setting. One of a group of three cottages arranged around a wonderful, peaceful garden, Robin's Nest is beautifully decorated, quiet, and very well equipped. The hosts have forgotten nothing with delightful little features; filter coffee, Toblerone's and chocolate biscuits in the fridge to name a few. The big antique bed was made up with high quality linens and was supremely comfortable. The breakfast delivered to our room was simple and flavoursome ~ superbly prepared. Just a short drive to the city, the cottages are set on a quiet hillside in the suburbs. We had absolutely nothing to complain about and will definetly return to sample the other cottages. Highly recommended if you are staying in Bendigo for a day or a few and don't need to be right in the heart of the city.

The property is flat with parking at the door and no steps. Not sure about the other issues

what time is breakfast served
Answer from bendigocottages
Bendigo, Australia
The Newcastle response was correct. A menu is given to guests when they arrive and they choose their breakfast and what time they would like it delivered to their cottage. The times are in 15 minute slots between 7.30 through to 9.30am. If guests choose the continental instead of fully cooked it is delivered to the cottage the night before so guests can have it anytime they like.
