We spent one night in a two bedroom self-contained unit. The bed was supremely comfortable. The unit is fresh and modern with a roomy bathroom and easy-to-use kitchen. Although Allara is on a busy road, the unit was totally quiet. Heating is excellent. Large TV and wifi for use on your phone. The botanical gardens are within walking distance. Will happily stay again.

Stayed a night here on a recent trip to Bendigo. Newly renovated room, was fresh, clean and comfortable. Whilst on the main highway was very quiet and felt very safe! Room was self contained complete with fridge and microwave; certainly had anything you would possibly need. Great location, close to town and botanical gardens. Hosts were very Friendly and accommodating . Would recommend and would stay again.

Very clean and spacious room. Breakfast was plentiful and well made. Friendly staff and welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble.
Our only comment was that there is no information (compendium) in the rooms and we really miss that.

Very pleased with Allara Motor Lodge - I got stranded in Bendigo due to car troubles, and RACV put me up at Allara Lodge - very happy they did! Lovely staff, clean comfortable accommodation, great sized rooms in good condition. Breakfast was great too!! No complaints here whatsoever. Will definitely be back in the future.

Greg & Julz (owners) were so friendly and welcoming as were their staff.
The old reviews of this hotel do not do it justice! Cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at, lovely pool area. Spacious rooms, and so close to the racecourse a 15 minute walk to attend a concert.
Newly renovated kitchen with full size fridge. Comfy bed and pillows and the air-conditioning was super quiet.
Can't wait to visit again and see the rest of the improvements these guys will do as it was already great.
Next time we will definitely book the 2 bedroom apartment as they look fabulous.

This would have been a 5 star if the beds were comfortable.
Apart from that.
2 bedroom apartment was awesome! TV in each room and ceiling fans.
Pub 2 mins walk away that does 10/10 meals!
And botanical gardens are next door as well. Would def stay again for an overnight stopover.

A family member and I stayed for 3 nights from the 8th of may to visit family. Was okay , clean , friendly staff. We ordered breakfast once only it was ordinary but that was the only downside. Apart from that 8/10 rating. We would return again as it’s suitable enough.

We had to spend three nights in Bendigo while clearing parents estate. This was handy and very friendly staff. Rooms were nice and quiet away from the busy main road. We didn't have time to use the pool though it looked very inviting. Would definately recommend this motel to anyone passing through. First stop coming in from Shepparton.

We happened upon this motel late at night. Despite the late hour, the owner was friendly and very accommodating. This is a budget hotel and therefore very reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, no road noise and the room contained a wall mounted flat screen television, air conditioner, fridge, iron and ironing board and tea and coffee making equipment. The shower had excellent water pressure and was sparkling clean. We left behind a small mirror and the owners made several attempts to contact us via telephone. Owners even offered to post the mirror to our home! Wow, that is customer service! If passing again, we will be staying at Allara Motor Lodge.
