Great three bedroom apartment with excellent facilities. Double garage available for two cars. Noisy neighbours but they didn’t disturb us sleeping. Good food storing facilities with a large fridge and dishwasher available. Comfortable bed and great size showers. Close to the centre of town also which was a real advantage. Given the location it was really quiet to sleep and the staff were very friendly.

I had to work away from home, so I have just spent two weeks here. My first two nights were in the motel room (20) and the room was quite adequate. Bed was okay, the room was clean- it has a fridge. After two days I asked for an upgrade and moved to an apartment... no fault of the business, but I hardly wanted to stay somewhere that I didn't have the option to cook. The apartment was upstairs which is great for exercise, but problematic for taking luggage up or for anyone with mobility issues. So be sure to ask for what you need when you book. The two bedroom apartment was very suitable ... it felt like a home away from home. ( Well to some degree... clearly it wasn't home) It meets your needs, the beds are reasonable, there is a deck area as well... a lovely large dining area. The bonus for this location is that there is a pub on the corner, it's also walking distance to a supermarket and to the Beechworth Bakery. I found it a bit awkward getting in and out at times because it's on a busy road. Service was exceptional...it met all of my needs. They were quick to respond to any issues I had.

Room Service Delivery promoted thru Central Deborah Motel - with ability to pay for your order over the phone by credit card 💳 I Tried to place an order by phone as advertised on the menu located in my motel room & in the end, after both my cards Declined on this properties end (even thou both my cards had money in the accounts both cards were linked too, it all just proved too complicated) Sadly my verdict is: I wouldn’t recommend it❗️ Hence sadly, I have to strongly place my review as to NOT recommend this offering... When paying by phone using credit card: • Standard Practise is providing a card no#, the cards expiry date & your CVC No# Never once have I EVER previously been asked to have to provide my private & confidential pin no# anywhere~else when paying by credit card transaction over the phone 🤔🥴 My issue here is, with identify theft such a big issue these days, providing that particular detail justifiably makes one extremely nervous to the threat & possibilities of there accounts being liable to be being hacked... I must say, to this establishments defence; the staff member that took my order over the phone seemed somewhat inexperienced in the whole procedure overall; in firstly: A) How to actually Process Room Service Delivery Orders to the property concerned as advertised / offered via the hotel room compendium B) Inexperienced in how to take payment by card over the phone, hence on trying two seperate cards it came up declined on there end (likely due to the details not being entered correctly into the EFTPOS Terminal in the proper manner to take payment via a MOTO method) It would appear staff require further training as to the proper processes in the service being offered is my recommendation, in the end I choose too not bother with my order & pursue Menulog or similar delivery services, a shame really as the offering on the menu really did appear quiet impressive 😢

Best hotel. Have been staring there every week for work. Tried a couple of other places in Bendigo but couldn’t go past the National. Karen and Ron are amazing - the place is always spotless and they greet you like you are coming home. Just love the food next door - or to your room - absolutely delicious!! Thanks Karen and Ron
