Check In: Arrived 3pm. Welcome friendly and use my name during process. Room was ready. Check in was at the Wine Bank as there is no actual reception for the Allawah. Room: Room was clean and tidy but a little on the small side. As a weekend getaway it was fine. Stylish painting and art work. Microwave, kettle, plates, mugs...

Had a 2 night short stay at this hotel, room was very comfortable and clean, bed was great, bathroom clean and renovated. Very good rate. Stayed in room 2. Only issue would be guests can sit outside rooms and have dinner and drinks, plus guests using the toilets need to come outside past the rooms so clanking of high heels...

Thanks for reviewing the Maisonettes at Allawah. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, in regards to the courtyard dining area we have a curfew for diners so as not to bother our overnight guests. Next time your in town please try our wine bar restaurant, the food and service is second to none and your 13 year old daughter would...

I stayed at Allawah Maisonettes for three nights, upon invitation of a business affiliation here in Bendigo. At first sight, the room (No 6) seemed great, but over time it showed its limitations. It is clean and nicely done up, yet the absence of any furniture except for a bed makes life slightly difficult. There is nowhere to sit, let...

Thanks for your review Martin, it would've been good if you could've let us know about anything that wasn't quite right whilst you were here and we could have addressed them or explained the other items that you were unsure of. The Maisonettes are our entry level accommodation centrally located and appropriately priced. We could have relocated you to one...

Had a very comfortable night in one of the maisonette rooms situated at the back of the wine bank. Old bank staff quarters and very comfy. Nice new queen beds ensuite is compact but not a issue. Staff very welcoming at wine bank. Also a great spot for drink and eating. Very central to Bendigo great price. Will be back

We have just stayed for two nights at Allawah in room 4. It was beautiful, had loads of space and is right in the heart of town. As we have stayed here before we knew we had to check in over the road at the wine bank. Staff are always just a call away to help in need be. We...

The maisonettes are the entry level (yeah I understand that) either upgrade or go elsewhere (lots to choose from) the rooms are tiny and the bathroom so small you can go to the loo and do you teeth at the vanity at the same time. New mattresses I have been told though I found it way to firm (just because...

Chris, after reading your review I'm wondering if there is not some other unrelated underlying issue with your stay. We have had nothing but compliments about our new beds, I've actualy upgraded my own bed with the same and I'm very happy with it. Our bathrooms are small but the size has no negative affect on the functionality. The rooms...

Visited Bendigo to see Marilyn Monroe exhibition, which was excellent. Booked into this gorgeous boutique accommodation in View St. Just marvellous, elegantly decorated, scrumptious towels. A cute little kitchenette which was an added bonus. Outside a lovely courtyard lit up with fairy lights at night. Parking at the back. So convenient to explore Bendigo on foot. Definitely recommend

We stayed in one of the Allawah apartments on View Street for a week. It was a great base to get to know Bendigo on foot - a fabulous central location. The apartment itself, located in a lovely old building, was beautifully appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable, self catering stay. The booking process was faultless, and the...

Had the honeymoon suite, 4 poster bed, spa and heaps of room. Very romantic. Great restaurant and bar downstairs, Rocks on Rosalind, worth the visit just for the restaurant. Great position to see the sites of Bendigo.

Thanks for reviewing Allawah Fountain View Suites John.
