I found this motel comfortable however work is needed. We had room 26. Aircon fitted in a stupid place, near a window and behind a curtain. The pool has no signage of depth. Not sure how they get away with that. The pool deepens in the middle without warning. Price was good. We had a spa but no plug and spa was not plugged in.

Our family contacted the motel late evening and the operators accommodated our family's very late check-in professionally with no problems (check-in ended up after midnight). Great instructions given via mobile phone. Perhaps a little pricey but rooms were clean and comfortable and the operators were friendly. Our family was happy.

The room was very spacious and comfortable, quiet, and I loved the bed. A bit dated in decor but that didn’t bother me. What did concern me was the bathroom. When showering the water went all over the bathroom leaving a very slippery surface that meant we had to use our towels to mop it up to avoid injuring ourselves. This could lead to a very serious accident and possible head injury.

Staff from start were excellent. Easy and friendly check in. Permitted me to leave a barely them check in at 2. Room very spacious and clean. Bathroom large great water pressure in shower. Micro wave and tea and coffee in room. Good size smart tv. Booked on line for $97 very good price. Highly recommend. Walking distance to sovereign hill and red lion hotel.

Cute little room with modern bathroom. Did exactly what we needed it for. A little noisy at night from traffic and people noise, but it was fine. You could also hear the other rooms plumbing turning off and on but that's pretty standard in a motel. Pool and spa were nice.

Old and outdated.
Rooms still need renovating. TV doesn’t get all channels because it’s not HD.
No in room cutlery and glassware for eating in room. Need to ask reception for items.
Still has the original fixtures from the 70’s or 80’s such old clock radio in the bedside table. Bathroom very outdated and bordering on unsafe

Lovely big room but lacked no shower shelving, bath mat, hair dryer, and a half decent fridge. Not given Wifi password on checkin and found out NO cable channels as advertised on Agoda. Despite being summer, pool colour and clarity (water) was poor.

Our room was clean, bed was comfy, heating worked very well and location was very central. Staff friendly. Car parking was awkward and you fluked getting close to your room, on returning late one evening we were relegated to the back of the property

Hotel/motel rooms were very spacious and the lead staff member/receptionist was terrific. Beds were comfortable but a bathroom tap dripped seriously which was a distraction, and a waste of HOT water too. Nicely located in Ballarat. Good value.
