We stayed in the family accommodation at the back. Pretty quiet. There is a timber yard behind the rooms but at night it was closed. Everything was perfect. 2 clean bedrooms and a kitchen/lounge area. We stayed one night before seeing sovereign hill. A great price and location for a one night stop off.

The welcome at the hotel during office hours was through an intercom. The beds were as hard as the quartz reefs, miners dug. Although our room was non-smoking, it didn't matter as the neighbours smoked right next to our open window.

We have stayed at the Eureka Lodge motel on a number of occasions. The rooms are always well presented, warm as the owners have the heater on to warm the room for your arrival. The rooms are great value for money and the Motel is well situated to all the things you want to see and do in Ballarat. Great customer service just tops off your stay.

This was my second visit to the Eureka Lodge to visit the Wonderlights at Sovereign Hill. Like last time there was a pleasant welcome from the owner with a continental breakfast included for a nominal fee. The room was comfortable and the heater quickly warmed us up. Being away from main streets there was no noise. The motel is about a 10 minute drive to Sovereign Hill and is next door to the Eureka Stockade. We will be back

My husband and I (flown in from NZ the day before) were on a driving tour of goldfields towns with our son and his girl friend who live in Melbourne. I booked this online as we needed a 2 bedroom unit with a kitchen and lounge. The owners were extremely nice and I was amazed by the amount of complimentary milk (full size), with jars of individual packets of Vegemite, jam, sugar and coffee. The most generous place I've ever stayed in. Excellent value for money. The rooms were exceptionally clean and being at the rear of the motel it was very quiet and the beds were comfortable if a little soft. It was a cold day that we stayed there but the air-con warmed up all the rooms very quickly. The two couches were good for the 4 of us to relax, though the side of one couch was quite soft (some heavy guests or children jumping on it maybe). If we come back to Ballarat we would definitely stay here again.
