The Quest in Ballarat is a great place to stay. Its nice and clean everything you need in the service apartment. The location was a 5min walk for us to get to our function that we were attending and it was great value for money. So if we are in Ballarat again I will be making reservations at the Quest.

This hotel is excellent. The beds are sublime. The rooms are quiet well air conditioned and the high ceilings give a sense of space. All of the facilities are very good. You can choose to have dim elegant lighting or bright overhead. I loved to come home to a freshly made bed everyday.My only critique is that the showers are not made for big people or tall people. And the water pressure is very low but I think thats across all of Victoria with water saving laws. I would definitely come back here.

The apartment was comfortable and roomy. Great location close to some quirky cafes and restaurants/hotels. The beds were very comfortable with hotel quality linen. Two bathrooms in the apartment was also very convenient something you do not see often

We were expecting to stay in the newer Quest Ballarat Station. So, my review should be read with this disappointment in mind.
The room was basic, with kitchenette and adjoining bedroom (no TV) and separate bathroom. The bathroom was reminiscent of an aged care facility - probably useful for disabled persons. Odd placement of mirrors and vanity.
The apartment could do with some colour, everything seemed to be porridge-coloured.
Staff were pleasant and it is an easy walk into main town.
Cobwebs need to be cleaned off the external signage - not a great welcome seeing that.
I suggest that the Quest's acknowledgement email confirms the Dawson St location to avoid other guests having their expectations dashed.

Our website and the subsequent booking confirmation you would have received clearly show Quest Ballarat and our address. Our One bedroom apartments have a full kitchen, spacious lounge area and separate bedroom. The bathroom of the apartment you were allocated was an easy access bathroom, however had you have discussed your preference with Reception when you arrived, we may have been able to allocate a different room. Love staying at Quest Ballarat. Staff are always super-friendly and accommodating, rooms clean and well fitted out, and quiet. Location is just a stones throw from the best eateries - being situated virtually in the middle of town but not on a busy thoroughfare. Rooms clean and modern. Will stay here again!

Stayed in an accessible 2br apartment with husband, daughter, carer and assistance dog.
Spotlessly clean, easily roomy enough to manoeuvre around in my wheelchair.
Huge accessible bathroom had a fold down shower bench and adjustable shower head. All the amenities of home - great kitchen, clean, modern and large bathrooms, comfortable beds, generous seating in the dining and lounge rooms. I was staying for three weeks in Ballarat in the Quest. The experience was made far less painful being away from home by staying at this hotel. All the facilities are in good order, the hotel itself is a tasteful refurbishment of a heritage building which is pleasing aesthetically both internally and externally. The proximity to all that Ballarat has to offer is another tick in the positive column. Worth the stay.

Spotlessly clean studio apartment. Being a solo woman in my 70’s, felt very safe and secure in the studio. My only criticism is no allocated parking, which may be a problem, particularly if returning to the property later in the day.

We stayed in the two bedroom serviced apartment. We were greeted with the air con already turned on on a very hot day. We thought that was a lovely considerate touch by the hotel. The hotel is beautiful with modern interior and clean. Our stay was comfortable and the children discovered the delight of the vending machine! There were sufficient parking during our stay (non peak). However during peak season there may be a need to park on the road. It is close to the main streets of Central Ballarat and therefore you could walk to restaurants and shops instead. The staff were friendly and the hotel was quiet. They service the room daily and did a good job. Our apartment had its own laundry facilities but there is also a communal laundry unit available. The gymnasium holds several gym equipment and there is a courtyard for smokers and those who want to have a coffee outside. The apartment has complimentary coffee and tea but there is also a coffee maker at the reception area for a gold coin donation. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would come back to stay here next time.

I was a single traveller who stayed at Quest Ballarat. Check in was great, the reception staff member was really friendly and he was happy to suggest places for me to visit whilst I was in Ballarat as well as suggesting restaurants.
I stayed in a One bedroom apartment and it was wonderful having the separate sitting room and dining room away from the bedroom. The bathroom was ultra modern and the amenities were luxurious. The bathroom also had a washer and dryer and this would come in handy if you were going to be spending a few more days. My room overlooked a road and I expected to hear noise but it was really quiet during my stay.
I would definitely recommend Quest Ballarat if you were going to be staying in Ballarat.
