The cabin was clean and tidy. Seperate master bedroom was roomy with a very comfortable bed. Good sized kitchen area which contained all we needed for our stay. Nice big shower with good water pressure, and toilet inside. Booking was done contactless and was very secure, including boom gates at the entrance. Our small dog also loved her stay here and was very well behaved. Would recommend this place and we look forward to coming back again. Kaz, Barbs and Roxy. “Thelma and Louise trip”

Selected this accomodation on website advertising and reviews. The cabin was easily accessed and suited out needs. Clean and well equipped for self catering. The location was good, close to the Eureka Centre, a playground, pool and parkland. However the games room area, which had great appeal for our grandson to challenge Grandpa at pool etc was a complete disappointment. Arriving back from dinner about 7.45pm ready for a game the area was locked. Time on the door stated 9pm. OK hopefully they can have turn in the morning before we check out. Not so, the reality was the pool table was damaged, there was only one table tennis bat, no balls available. Sadly there did not appear to be any games that could be used. Perhaps it is time to replace the damaged equipment or adjust the website. While it was disappointing for us with one child in tow, would be very annoying for a larger family group.

The Eureka Stockade Holiday Park is very well located in terms of access to the Ballarat CBD and especially to the Eureka Centre. The one bedroom villa was comfortable and well equipped, with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom. The only problem was a malfunctioning electric blanket (on a very cold night). The management promised that it would be replaced immediately.

We travelled with our family, including one wheelchair bound, and were allocated 2 side by side drive through sites which was great. Our booking was made in May 22. Upon arriving at our site we were gobsmacked to see the condition of our area. It was disgusting! The site was loose dolomite dust covered with dry crispy gum leaves and not a blade of green grass. It was situated at the end of the park adjacent to the golf course. Apart from the dust and filth we had to endure for 5 days especially with young kids the toilet etc amenities were quite a distance away.
Even placing a large ground mat down did not keep the the dirt, dust and leaves away. In my opinion this site should have been cleared of leaves and tidied for the next occupancy. Whilst we were there we did not see one maintenance person either watering or clearing as is the usual practice. Also near us the rubbish bins were mostly overflowing and no recyle bins available. Showers were OK. Water was hot and strong but lacked cleaning . I used the same shower cubicle for three days and a dead bug had not been removed until I got rid of it. The ensuite bathroom we were fortunately given which we appreciated helped my son in law with his wheelchair depedancy. We did however have to remove cobwebs and clean the floor of a multitude of bugs before use. The outside fluro light didn't work so night trips needed a torch.. On entrance to the park it looks lovely and lush with healthy trees but unfortunately our location was not so. I recommend anyone booking a poweredsite to ask questions
We have travelled extensively and failed to ask relevant questions and as a result had a disappointing stay in Ballarat.

Ive realised that we should pay no attention to pictures on website as most are not true representations of the parks. This was the case here as well. We got the impression that there was a pool on site but it was next door and did not belong to the park itself. And get this it is closed between 10am and 4pm!!
We wanted grass but they gave us gravel. We did take the ensuite option though. The ensuite was dirty when we got there with leaves and dust which you may consider normal but not the human hairs on the floor. The fan, full of lint, in the ensuite did not work which meant that the room fogged up. But worst of all the shower door had dropped and would stick to the frame of the shower. Okay a little force and it would spring open. However my wife has a disability and found it hard to apply too much force. On one occasion she became trapped in the shower because she could not force the door open and had to scream and yell for attention. We advised that the door stuck earlier and were told by the maintenance person that he was aware of the problem. So why wasn't it fixed?
The gravel made the dog dirty and our feet dirty which would be carried into the van. Not happy

We recently stayed on an ensuite site and were very disappointed. There was gravel everywhere and an ugly fence on one side. It was not enjoyable sitting outside at all. The ensuite had dirty floors, a broken toilet roll holder and a leaky toilet pipe. During our 4 days there we never saw one single worker anywhere. The lawn was not maintained.
We will definately look for somewhere else to stay next time we are in Ballarat.

I stayed in a small cabin for three nights. The staff were friendly and the cabin was generally fine. Wi-fi was a bit flaky but worked pretty well most of the time. The holiday park was busy (school holidays), but there were no problems with noise.

Nothing spectacular, but entirely adequate. I'd consider staying here again.

Found booking and check in very easy and when we arrived the staff were friendly and professional. The vest was part of a Military Brotherhood Motorcycle Club National meeting and many of us stayed here and all enjoyed our stay. We did have an issues with no WiFi but we were notified about the issue before check in so was not and issue.

My sister and I with 4 teenagers and 2 large dogs (very gentle and quiet dogs) stayed in a 3-bedroom Cabin.
It exceeded our expectations.
Extremely clean, quiet and spacious. Plenty of space for us all.
Modern facilities and everything was working well.
Park had plenty of green spaces for dogs and teenagers to explore.
Customer service was extremely friendly and helpful.
Would highly recommend.

I realised when I arrived at the office that I had made an error in my booking email more than six months prior. They had us down as arriving the week after. The two patient and kind women on reception took the time to assure me they could help work out a solution. They put us on two preliminary sites for a night until ones around the area I had requested were available and gave me some options. This patient understanding was most appreciated. We enjoyed a week here as a family of 6 on two sites in the back caravan sites under the trees. Hot mid 30's weather so the pool next door was great to use and entry included in the stay. Amenities adequate. Thanks Eureka.
