Booking in was easy, cabin was a little outdated, but comfortable enough, pricing was okay, its nice and handy to the shopping centre , about 5 to 10 min walk away. It would be a great little to park to stay in with kids , looks like a lot of activities can be done.

Upon arrival the staff were very welcoming and directed us personally to our cabin. Our cabin itself was quite compact but functional. Staying in the middle of winter we all felt the cold inside the cabin. There was a reverse cycle air conditioner but it took a while to bring the room up to temperature. So if you are coming in winter, make sure you pack some extra layers. The kids loved the pool and spa. The tv in the indoor pool area was a fun addition. Even during school holidays, there was lots of room in the park to try all the activities. We spent a few days exploring the local area by bike. The park is very close to the Ballarat-Skipton rail trail and we had a lovely day riding along the trail, stopping for lunch and riding back. We also took a bike trip down to Michael Unwin wines on a well maintained gravel path which runs alongside Remembrance Drive. The local area has many options for bike riders of all abilities. The park itself is outside of Ballarat city but is very close to a new shopping centre and supermarket. Everything you need is available there. Overall it was a great trip and recommend the park and area as a lovely place to visit.

Hi Happy Mum, Thanks for your feedback. Its fantastic the staff helped you to your site, we like to make sure no one gets lost getting to their cabins. The pool and TV room are defiantly the hits over the winter time, with the kids and adults! You are defiantly right about the trails, they are well maintained and easy to get around. We are very lucky to have them close to the park. We hope we can welcome your family back again soon

Other than the amenities which are good for young kids, this place is filthy and I won’t be back! I must admit I’m not much of a camper on the best of days, so my expectations may be high. However, when paying over $200 a night for a basic cabin immune minimum expectation is that it’s clean and it was disgusting. Coffee cups chipped and coffee stains in the bottom. Filthy kettle and let’s not forget the disgusting bathroom with soap scrum and black build up. The layers of dust on top of the microwave and shelves screams pure cleaning laziness. In COVID times - I thought that thorough cleaning was the new norm - not here!

The toilets and kitchen areas were immaculate and looked brand new. The indoor play area was great. The recreation room was awesome fireplace TV and lots of different games to play. A massive indoor pool with spas and a kiddie pool. We will definitely be back. Amazing staff members go above and beyond.
