We have been coming back to this park every few years for approximately 15 years because it is just that good. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the cabins are always clean and well maintained. The pool is amazing and the new extension looks like its going to be a huge asset to the park. Love the pet pond even though we don't bring pets with us it's just lovely to walk around. I'm sure we'll continue to visit this park for many more years
The staff are fantastic very knowledgeable and friendly our cabin was dated and not very clean the glasses needed a good wash also the coffee cups have coffee/ tea stains the couch needs replacing as do the mattresses and pillows. In regards to the facilities they were amazing very well maintained our son had so much fun the grounds are also well maintained. Even though there are negatives in regards to this park now that you are aware of them you will just need to pack a little bit extra eg a thin camp mattress, your pillow and some disinfectant wipes and you will have a wonderful time it’s a beautiful park so don’t let a few negatives stop you from booking. If we are in Ballarat again we will be staying again and we will also be recommending this park to friends and family.
A fabulous park with an abundance of activities for the kids. It’s difficult to get my boys off their iPads at times, but they loved the heated pool, go carts, table tennis, pool table chickens and PlayStations. We stayed in a cabin which was clean and warm. The decor was a little dated and the couch quite grubby, but these are minor complaints. We’ll definitely be back, next time with friends.
It's a reasonable small park close to town, Great indoor heated pool/ spa's, But if you have a Dog you will go out the back in individual fenced off Dog site's (Great idea) But they are building more ATM 30/3/22 Wait for a couple of months if you're coming with Dog's, Or ask if construction has finished only the Dog section.
Great family friendly park cabins and toilet facilities that are super clean and quite great pool facilities with a nice warm spa that is great even on cold days and super helpful and friendly staff who go out of their way to help you 10/10 great park keep up the good work
Adrienne and Mark are awesome owners of the caravan park. The staff is very helpful and friendly always got a smile on there faces. very good park lots to do my teenage boys loved it.Go karts and the games room are my teenage boys favourite things . Good location and close to the shops.Just a good time to relax with family or friends .Well done we will be back for sure
The facilities are excellent, the pet friendly caravan site enclosures are innovative, very convenient and a fabulous way to stay with your pet. And the proprietors and staff are wonderful to work with and very helpful. Highly recommended if you are staying in Ballarat.
We stayed in DOGWOOD cabin with our Kelpie and 2 kiddos...it was awesome!! Cabin looked brand new and was spotless. Side garden for the dog is a considered touch and very clever. And the facilities are abundant and well maintained. For us, the indoor pool was the highlight...fresh air coming in, great size, spa sections for the adults, fountain features for the kids. We will be back and dragging all our friends!!! Thanks team
Booking in was easy, cabin was a little outdated, but comfortable enough, pricing was okay, its nice and handy to the shopping centre , about 5 to 10 min walk away. It would be a great little to park to stay in with kids , looks like a lot of activities can be done.
Upon arrival the staff were very welcoming and directed us personally to our cabin. Our cabin itself was quite compact but functional. Staying in the middle of winter we all felt the cold inside the cabin. There was a reverse cycle air conditioner but it took a while to bring the room up to temperature. So if you are coming in winter, make sure you pack some extra layers. The kids loved the pool and spa. The tv in the indoor pool area was a fun addition. Even during school holidays, there was lots of room in the park to try all the activities. We spent a few days exploring the local area by bike. The park is very close to the Ballarat-Skipton rail trail and we had a lovely day riding along the trail, stopping for lunch and riding back. We also took a bike trip down to Michael Unwin wines on a well maintained gravel path which runs alongside Remembrance Drive. The local area has many options for bike riders of all abilities. The park itself is outside of Ballarat city but is very close to a new shopping centre and supermarket. Everything you need is available there. Overall it was a great trip and recommend the park and area as a lovely place to visit.…
